Yeah really click-baity article. Not a fan of stuff like this at all.
Shame I've already played too much Skyrim. Would be amazing to see though
This looks awesome.
Besides throwing small spherical objects and hoping for the best? :)
Knowing Rockstar they probably can't be bothered. Not releasing RDR on PC was a kick in the face, doing it again is not going to win them any fans at all. Let's not forget how "amazing" their GTAV launch was... i.e. the one with loads of bugs, huge delay in sorting out server problems... Yeah I'm not going to rush out and buy a console anytime soon.
They certainly don't have to, but doing something contrary to what the whole games industry is doing definitely seems like an odd choice. I haven't seen any benefit to holding back on the PC release date for GTAV unless I'm mistaken.
Rockstar is so big they could easily open up their own online store, charge £39.99 or cheaper and fans would easily pay that price. They could then get 100% of the profits for 1% of the work.
I'm guessing they need to update the hardware so it can handle the VR future (and ease any 1080p/60fps worries gamers have)
Got mine for £29.99 on pc :)
People argue a lot but essentially all the consoles are valid choices. Nobody says you can only get one.
Xbox made some big mistakes at the start but they've been relatively similar (except exclusives). They're okay but compared to a good PC they still have some way to go before they become must-buys.
Funnily enough, out of all the consoles and game devices, the PC has basically won (with Wii U/3DS getting an honorable mention for a very high number of top quality games)
I really hope it comes to Vita... Please please please.
Free Steam keys? What's not to love?
I wish developers would stay away from 360/ps3 downgrade ports, nobody cares about them anymore
It's a very replayable game. I've sunk over 230 hours into it and that isn't going to stop for the far future. The content it has definitely justifies a purchase, especially on a sale.
I would loved to play Rock Band 4 but it's not coming to Wii U (or PC!). I'll probably stick to the original games. Not sure about the new GH, could be hit or miss. Having live crowd videos makes the game seem like it'll have a lower budget than GH6 since they don't need animated characters, arenas etc.
One problem is most websites don't care if there is an adult or a child at the computer (some of the adverts I've seen are questionable at best and not suitable for all ages). Asking the user to enter their date of birth is pointless if they can just lie.
If a game is short, then it needs to have something extra. In Shadow of Mordor you have the random uruk generation and other games have multiplayer/custom characters.
Too early to tell, it's very strong already with some killer apps on the way. Ask again in 2 years.
