PS3 already outsold the GC (the GC sold more than twice what the DC did) so yeah, this article couldn't be farther from the truth.
I dont know about everyone else. But I'm TIRED of reading every day at least 2 or 3 pieces in N4G with nothing but pure speculation and ALWAYS ending with a Question mark!
Im tired of headings ending in a question mark!!!!!!!!!!
This is the reason why we're enjoying the PSN for free.
Seriously, why even complain? They are charging the developers insted of charging YOU!
I don't wanna hear anything about it!
Oh, so he must mean something that has a competent and playable online component, right?
..........Can I get a "zing!!"?
Wow, very interesting stuff. Did not know that and hadn't heard that rumor until now.
Bubbles to you, good sir.
SO4 doesnt even have a "Only on Xbox 360" tag on the cover. I know that many games eventually make their way to the PS3 even if they have the "only on" tag in them but the fact is SO4 doesn't have it at all.
Make of that what you will.
@XDF:
Im more than convinced now that your avatar is just trying to decieve. You're one of the biggest (and most annoying) Xbox fanboys I've ever seen in N4G.
Just go to sleep already, you dont contribute healthy discussions in this website.
Judging from your posting history, just beacause you have an avatar that's half a Kratos doesn't make you less of a flame-tastic Xbox fanboy.
Like macalatus said, for the people that dont care for the rest of the Xbox exclusives, having NG2 ported to the PS3 makes a world of difference. I, for one, couldn't care less for Mass Effect, Halo 3 or Gears.
With NG2 on the PS3 the only left exclusive FOR ME that I'd like on my system rather than only on the Xbox would be Star Ocean 4. Bu...
mine:
1) PS2 (biggest selling console ever with possibly the biggest library ever)
2) SNES
3) N64
4) NES
5) PS1
I dont think any of us can accurately place any of the current gen consoles objectively in any Top Consoles ever yet. We have to at least wait for next gen to start making judgements about overall performances by the current systems.
What comes to me as annoying is how a game that fits in an 8.5GB DVD for the 360 needs a 5GB mandatory install(more than half of the game on a DVD)???
Im still buying it but Capcom is coming out as a lazy inneficcient developer in my mind. Not even MGS4 that took up almost an entire 50GB Blu Ray disk needed that much space (not counting MGO)!
My guess has to do a lot the fact that every PS3 (except those 5 of you that purchased the 20GB) has wireless out of the box.
I know 2 friends who have an Xbox that due to the hassle of having to wire a cable to their gamerooms/Xboxes they havent connected the Xbox even once to the internet.
Co-OP ASAP!
If you can do it LOCAL co-op it'll be even better!
That's the beauty of importing games that are already in english.
oh wait, this is region locked?
for shame, Microsoft (or anyone who is responsible for this)!
The PS3 has already sold more than double units the Dreamcast ever sold (DC sold 10+ million).
The PS3 is far from the next Dreamcast.
90% of PS3s cant play PS2 games?
Paste the link with your source now! Don't go around making up numbers.
Last time I checked 90% of Xbox 1 games aren't playable on Xbox 360s (and 100% if its a 360 without HDD) but that didnt stopped MS of releasing Xbox 1 originals as downloadables right?
MGS4 took me 20 hours in ym first playthrough where only 8 hrs of that were non interactive cutscenes. And you forgot to mention that MGS4 came with a very complete and enjoyable multiplayer experience as well.
"We all know that cut scenes take up a lot of space that's why MGS4 was 30+gb game.. Can you imagine having to download that game?"
Um, "we all know"? You don't know squat! The only time cutscenes take up lots of space is when they're pre rendered/CG a-la Final Fantasy. 99% of MGS4's cutscenes use the game's own engine to produce real time cutscenes. The only real thing taking up space is the music and voices of the people talking. MGS4 was over 40GBs, not 30....

Es más bien ¡Ay Caramba!
Este juego va a estar conmadre.
My biggest problem with FFXII was the battle system. Half the time I spent doing the unbelivably boring process of programming the Gambits and half the time I spent just wandering around with one thumb on the left stick watching my characters fight, heal and win by themselves.
I know you could turn it off but the game encourages you to do so, it's designed around that!
FFXII was the first FF I've ever bought that I didnt finish. I even traded the stupid thing. Such a thing was unh...
