Havent you considered it may be because they deserved it? Had you ever played any of those games you'd know they all deserve a 5.

One thing I did not liked about New SMB on DS was that it was laughably easy.
Even Super Mario Galaxy was harder (but still rather easy, if we don't count Luigi's Purple Coins lol).
