Dang, none in my area. I'd buy that.
:P
That's precisely what I thought when I saw it. Has some interesting features but ultimately won't satisfy me.
I really hope they get it together and make a sequel to the current game. The reboot was AMAZING. I'd definitely buy a sequel.
What about 'Merica?!
Well said. Seriously, what multinational corporations think in terms of "winning"? None. It's about market share and maintaining profitability.
Both consoles will sell well (now that Microsoft has reversed their plans), and both companies will make a nice profit.
Yeah, and you're exploiting the proletariat by engaging in the capitalist market economy. How'd you like dem apples?
If you're going to bring Marxist political concepts to the table ("exploitation"), be prepared to apply them to yourself. Otherwise, STFU.
This talk of "winning" is so stupid. Who "wins" a console market? Sony "beat" Sega with the PS1, because they crushed the competition and took the market. Arguably the PS2 "won" because it dominated the market during its era. But even then, Nintendo didn't die and the XBOX made fast in-roads.
As to the PS3 - XBOX 360 - Wii era, nobody "won". So one console sells a few million copies more than another. That doesn't con...
7 was better.
Gamestop employee told me 11/19 was his bet, based on what his boss told him.
I say "Thank you" to Square for giving us more options for our RPG immersion. Keep it up.
@adorie. That "capitalism" that you're complaining about built the console you play games on, built the game, and provides you with the electric and tv necessary for gaming. So think twice before you start complaining about "capitalism".
You don't like it, don't buy it. SIMPLE. Free choice - imagine that.
@Abriael. Well said. The concept of "player choice" still hasn't caught on among every gamer.
One makes a character what one wants. That's why we call them role playing games. If anyone wants to play a Lightning with a sexy side, they can. I think it's great that players will have this option.
And it might end up being better than 6. I'll have to play more before I make that judgment. But so far the story mode is definitely inferior to 7.
My *biggest* complaint so far is the graphical style and quality. There is a noticeable drop compared to 7, which is shocking. 7 was *gorgeous* and revamped the entire aesthetic style of the serious, in a good way I thought. I honestly think they either dropped the budget for this or have their primary team working on somethin...
You should get 7. It's well worth it, so long as you're not expecting to play story mode coop.
I got this yesterday. I've played 4 story mode stages (coop). I've also played the series since 3, so have watched it develop over the years.
1. The quality of the story mode isn't as good as 7. I thought 7 gave the best story experience yet in the series. This doesn't match it, instead returning to the stilted and disconnected dialogue of earlier versions.
2. The combat has a more arcade feel than 7's, I think. It's hard for me to fin...
Agreed. He has shown initiative, independence, and skill. He should at least get an interview. And he's only 19 - he could learn a lot over the next few years.
Not only would I buy a remake, but I would buy the most expensive collector's edition of it. And then I would play it to the exclusion of all else.
BUT THEY MUST REMAIN TRUE TO THE ORIGINAL. I want a remake, not a reimagining.
16/20.
@DragonKnight
The article doesn't contradict itself. The 512MB example you cite is clearly stated as being from an earlier "leak" during the time period the console was rumored to have 4GB of RAM. If you have other examples of contradiction, please cite them.
There's no denying that this is an unfortunate development. The dominant rumor has been 7GB of RAM for games. This leak, if accurate, substantially cuts that. Yes the PS4 still had hard...
