Really, on the issue of hard drive space, who's to say Sony won't give PS+ subscribers a few hundred GBs space as part of their subscription? Would make sense. Obviously it's just me speculating, but I'd say the odds lean in its favor. It simply makes economic sense as a means to compete with Microsoft.
1. It's cheaper.
2. It's better.
3. Sony doesn't suck.
4. PS+ > MSLive
5. It's got better controllers.
In a heartbeat.
You can pick it up on Amazon real cheap.
If they sold a bundle for $500 I'd see about switching my current PS4 preorder to a bundle preorder.
This really is a lovely looking game. I'm 110% buying this. In fact, I like the direction of this so much that I'm going to finish FFXIII and buy FFXIII-2.
Well done Square.
The scale will definitely be more impressive. But I'm willing to bet we won't see the difference between it and BF3 until we can *feel* it. Playing the game and being immersed in the world is the only surefire way to judge the game's visual quality.
Yup. Looking forward to it.
I was just going to write that. Not impressed.
Great news. I'll be getting this for sure.
So let me get this straight. Bioshock sells 4 million copies in four months and that's a commercial success. But Tomb Raider sells 3.4 million copies in less than one month (Wikipedia) and Square considers it a commercial failure.
Odd.
@dcj0524
What difference does it make if the men are black? Are you trying to play on stereotypes?
Who, in seriousness, says porn is just pixels?
Fact: males in video games are portrayed in the most excellent health and are, generally, attractive. Does this constitute objectification? It serves to portray a certain type of male. Why does no one complain about this "objectification"?
I would rather an attractive fema...
"Sexual objectification" is a bullshit concept used to control sexual relations. There simply is no such thing.
You doubt me? Define "sexual objectification."
Here's what's wrong: nothing.
I need a new PC.
I asked the same question above. It makes no sense. I can see the XBOX requiring 3GB if its running a TV service and other media-heavy services. I bet the PS4 requires a good chunk of memory when it runs media services.
But that's only when running those services. It makes no sense that a console OS would need 3GBs, of DDR3 or GDDR5.
@Foxgod
"...when it comes to the GPU, Forza 5 and Ryse proof [sic] you're wrong."
That is one of the dumbest statement I've read on this site, ever.
@jr85prix
"...according to current PlayStation 4 documentation shown to Digital Foundry by a well-placed development source."
Until the documentation is publicly available or Sony makes an official announcement, it's a rumor.
Agreed.
@tuglu_pati. That doesn't tell us anything.
I'm sure GTAV doesn't need to learn from other games. Rockstar blazes a path that other companies can only hope to follow.
