Got a release date yet?
Same here. I don't mind switching from Hayter if Kojima's setting up a remake of Metal Gear, but this guy was the wrong choice. Should have hired Kurt Russel.
Yup. And it's important to compare this to other RPGs that lack continuity between entries - Elder Scrolls for instance. There is only a vague historical continuity between games, yet we love ES. Why? I think for two main reasons:
1. We know what we're getting when we buy it.
2. Gameplay above all - we can get lost in each entry, creating our own story and characters. Heck, if we don't want to play the main story line, we can still carve a story f...
I agree - I'll likely get it, eventually. But I swore after DA2 that I wouldn't buy another new. They got $60 of my hard-earned cash on Day 1 for the abortion that was DA2. Gamestop will get my business a year or two after release.
Several reasons I'm not excited. Not sure how widely felt they are. In no particular order:
1. Dragon Age 2
2. They dropped the central thread of the plot - the Grey Wardens. There is no coherency within the series.
3. Whether it was originally intended to be such, the central thread of the story has become the conflict between the mages and the church. This bores me.
4. There is no continuity of character in the series. ...
I can't do it. If there's one VR game that would actually make me cry, it would be this. Childhood trauma induced by watching Aliens.
No...
I'll see you there. ;-)
Day 1. Take my money.
This is what's getting me off the sidelines. Bought 1 and 2 already - just need to sit down to play them.
At least the first mission was pretty cool...
What's the name of the actor who plays the villain? He's famous, but I can't place him.
Arno - the name of the river in Florence. Tribute to Ezio confirmed.
If Sony's renting out theaters, they must know this is going to be something big.
That was a great trailer. Loved the music.
Whole thing.
Agreed.
Well said.
You make a good point.
Pathetic.
