It's usually easier to be scared when your alone. It's a harder to make a game scary when it's multiplayer, and it might simply not make sense to do it.
These observations probably apply mainly to large developers and publishers, and for the same reasons that people often complain about large Western developers and publishers. They're all trying to make the safe business decision of doing what worked before. They'll be more willing to try new things if and when their sales drop.
Sounds interesting. I look forward to reading future articles in this series. I hope they'll tell us more about what makes TERA special.
Since the review describes Angry Birds Halloween as basically more levels for Angry Birds, perhaps it should link the a review of Angry Birds. I know the original Angry Birds is popular, but I don't know why. I mean, Plants vs. Zombies and Farmville are both popular, but I'm only interested in one of them.
Pretty good! Maybe you should send the companies the relevant lines from the old play "Arsenic and Old Lace" where a reviewer says he'll write his review of a play on the way to the theater to watch it.
Sounds to me like the results of trying to make safe business decisions, which is more likely the more they spend to develop each sequel.
Sounds like fun, but perhaps not worth the price of a regular retail game.
Sounds like a good game. Platinum surely knew what they were getting into when they decided to make this a single-player game. With luck, sales will reflect the quality of the game.
I haven't played any of the Fallout games yet, but this sounds like a fun, if flawed game.
Other than music games, having a song in a game is like having it in a movie or TV show, with a different audience. It gives bands exposure to more people, which can only be good for them.
Not a great selection in this weeks' reviews. At least two of these came out a while ago. How do you choose what to review?
Of course, the best ideas can be ruined by poor implementation.
Although this isn't my type of game, it does seems to be well made.
Thanks for the review. It looks like this is a pass.
It's too bad that Kong360 doesn't enough people playing it for the best experience.
Both games sound good. Dungeons seems to have an interesting change of perspective.
Nice collection of zombie games, but you spelled the title of James Silva's game wrong (not that I can spell it.)
The artwork is nice. It's too bad the game is lacking in other areas. I wonder if part of this might be a language problem with the developers.
Thanks for the review! If I get this, it'll probably be for a console.
Thanks for the list! I haven't tried any of these. I'm also curious how D&D Online compares, since it's also made by Turbine.
