I think if gamestop advertised the preorder bonus, the uncharted 2 numbers would be higher. I preordered the other day and the guy said I don't get anything for preordering =X
Anyways, I'm somewhat surprised at the MW2, Tekken, Persona, Demon's Souls, and Dragon Age numbers.
Also, I'm kinda depressed at how much money I'll be spending. I see about 7 games I'm interested in playing on that list.

The fact that there are any fanboys now that both consoles are 299 is beyond me. Both consoles offer you something, get them both or shut up about 'the other console', whichever one that may be.

It goes both ways, too. It's funny cause they basically say the same thing... you can replace certain words out of their posts and replace them with what 'the other side' would say.
For example (using XBox360Elite's post)...

GT5 takes real life to the next level graphics unseen on any consoles ever which will be impossible to do on 360..."
I think Forza 3 has like 100 tracks... that's a lot.
I'm guessing if they were going to put "only on 360", it would be when they put the ESRB on the box.

Sony should constantly feed this studio PS2 games to upgrade before their next game comes out.
They could do Ico next, then Twisted Metal if Jaffe is working on it, etc... it's almost better than BC if they make a big library of HD remakes.

I don't know how this whole "Microsoft exclusive" trend started (on second thought, I might... but I won't get into that). Nobody says the latest Soul Caliber is a "Sony exclusive", they say it's a PSP game. L4D2 is a PC/360 game, end of story. If you say it's exclusive to something, you obviously have some sort of agenda.
I started L4D late (on PC) and had no problems with people until I tried VS mode. I'd suggest starting with the campaign, just think about what you're doing and don't do anything stupid.
Then I'd maybe watch some youtube vids or read some guides on vs if you're interested in it.
All the games on the list and the ones listed here so far would be awesome, but personally I'd like to see another Oddworld game (even though I didn't play the last one =p)
Honestly, I don't care for bots.. but a map editor would be crazy with uncharted... I'll cross my fingers for uncharted 3.
I agree.. I know I'll get flamed for this, but Halo 3 had a very good and fleshed-out multiplayer mode (including cinema), and I'm glad ND is taking a page out of their book and adding to it.
The machinima mode looks awesome even though I probably won't be using it. At first I thought that since it seems so easy to make stuff, there will be too much crap to sort through... but I thought the same thing when LBP came out and there's been so many good levels since then. I think we'l...
I don't recall any GOTYs for the 360 version, but I believe the PC version got a few, and definitely some 'best multiplayer', 'best mechanic, etc... awards like Panda said.
I agree with Stoney... if you don't have live, try to play it on PC. You really do get more bang for your buck. If you don't have a good enough PC or just like playing on consoles (which is understandable), L4D honestly isn't as fun offline... but for $30, it's not that bad. If you like zombie games, I would check it out.
I didn't have a PS2, so I missed out on a lot of good franchises that I would buy in a heartbeat if they were offered in HD, like GoW (check), ico/sotc, maybe twisted medal, jak, ratchet, kingdom hearts, etc...
I might eventually get a PS2 and buy those games, but Sony would probably make more money if I bought the remastered versions.
