Exactly. I'm sure there are people out there who have a good enough connection and live within a few miles of one of OnLive's servers.. but until our internet infrastructure sees some major improvements, OnLive isn't going to be profitable.

Again, I've read all the IGN previews. Do you not think there's a difference between saying a game is awesome and saying it's the reason to buy a PS3? Greg basically says "you should get this game", while this guy says "you should get a PS3 and this game". Actually Sucker Punch is independent, but Sony is publishing infamous and probably owns the rights to the IP like they do with insomniac's games.
I've read every preview by most of the major gaming websites, especially IGN's. I remember when Greg announced that he'd have a preview up the next day, but it didn't come up until the following week.. so I spent all those days at work constantly refreshing IGN. I'm not kidding when I said I've been anticipating this game since '07. I already have it paid in full at gamestop and i put down $5 at gamecrazy to get early access to the demo.

I don't know about the other times people have accused a writer of being a fanboy, but in this instance I had the feeling he was a fanboy because:
1. Every other infamous hands-on, while very positive, don't even come close to matching this guy's reaction. He REALLY, REALLY loves the game.
2. The writing wasn't very professional and there were typos.
3. I never heard of the site.

Yeah, I was thinking "wow.. biggest PS3 fanboy I've seen in a while" until the part about him going out an buying a PS3 for the game. Is it THAT good?
Yeah, I don't think game sales are as bad as everyone makes the out to be on PS3. I just read ubisoft makes more sales on PS3.. I've also read EA does, as well. If that's true, the PS3 may not drop until this fall, maybe to coincide with Uncharted 2 / R&C / the holiday season... they may even wait until GT5 or GoW3.

I remember getting excited about this game way before I even had a PS3 and nobody talked about it. I'm glad people are finally getting into it.
