Capcom should either release it on all platforms simultaneously or make it exclusive... they're just shooting themselves in the foot releasing the game 6 months to a year later on PS3. Look at what happened with the original Lost Planet, plus games like Bioshock and Eternal Sonata (they didn't sell well). Not many people are interested in buying a year-old game.
The demo will be public in two weeks, I think.
@himdeel:
Nice write-up.. you nailed a lot of stuff I missed.
@MmaFanQc
I would call your GS and ask if they got any in... I heard a lot of them got vouchers in yesterday or today.
As for things I didn't like...
One of the main things that took getting used to was how Cole sticks to certain object so easily. So say you're on the train track and want to jump down.. if you're not careful, you're going to grab the edge of the track instead. Afte...
This is a demo that Sony sent him.. basically the tutorial. There's a French vid of it if you search N4G for "infamous".
I've played the other demo four times.. it's really good.
There's 64 million 360/wii/ds-only owners in PAL regions that were going to buy Ghostbusters?
Alright, here's my impression (don't read if you plan on playing the demo and don't want to be "spoiled"):
You have access to your basic shock, hover, grenades, and force push. Later in the game you get access to the lightning storm. The controls are perfect. Basically you press X to jump and then R1 while you're in the air to hover. The game knows when you're trying to attach to something, so you don't have to worry about missing. You're able to grind on the wires conn...
There definitely needs to be more stuff to do in the next HD GTA.. that's the only reason I played the older GTAs.
The gunplay also needs some major improvements. Looking at how good the gameplay is in open-world action games like prototype and infamous, there's no reason R* can't improve the gunplay to be more like Gears or Uncharted.
Dayyyum, impressive.
Looks interesting, but hope this isn't the revolutionary thing MS was talking about. I don't see this changing home entertainment for the majority of 360 owners.
Regardless, I'm looking forward to seeing it in action at E3.
Arguing with the iRobot guy is futile. He's a textbook example of a fanboy/troll.
@below: I couldn't care less about his opinions of the PS3, but he derailed nearly half of the comments on the first page with senseless fanboy BS. The story is about the publishing rights to Ghostbusters, not how disappointed iRobot is with the PS3. The open zone is there for a reason.
Not everyone buys a console for one game like I assume you did. I feel bad that you spent so much money on a console you obviously look down upon... there are some good games you're missing out on.
"Okay fair enough. I am just curious, what xbox360 games appeal to you? "
I'm going to guess Mass Effect, at least. (because of his PSN id)
haha, the French voices were definitely interesting.
Anyways, this video is compressed horribly. Here's some proper screenshots of the same demo:

Sucks that this game will probably get bad reviews. Gonna at least rent it anyways. I had fun with the demo.
People said the same stuff about OPM being biased when the KZ2 review hit... then all the other reviews started coming in and it turns out they were just under the metacritic average. OPM UK review scores are usually lower than the metacritic... and when they're higher, it's only be a few points.
It's possible that the metacritic average will be below a 90, but not by 10-20 points. I understand being hesitant about "hyped" games (especially after GTA4 in my case), but i...
I put $5 dollars down at gamecrazy even though I've already paid the $60 for the game at gamestop... I figured I'll pick up a used game at gamecrazy and put the 5 dollars towards it.
I wonder what EDGE will give it.
If you want to know why people are excited about the game, close your eyes and imagine it's a 360 exclusive.. then you'll stop avoiding the positives.
Aw jeez...
"the pop-ins made it unplayable"
"you can't drive"
