I think I'm one of the few people who actually liked Double Agent... looking forward to more info on Conviction at E3 *fingers crossed*
Maybe you're not biased, but you seem to have a fascination with bringing up sony fanboys and starting sh!t. I will admit, though, that they run rampart here and it's entertaining watching their reactions.
However, I hate reading comments that actually seem intelligent, but then start pandering to fanboy BS. If you're just trying to get a rise out of people, I can understand.. but if the stuff you type is genuine, then you are indeed biased.
ME2 is one of the few games where I wouldn't care if it's the same as the original with a new story and location.
haha, the classic "I own both systems so I'm not biased"
If you really do own both systems, I feel bad that there are real gamers out there who can't afford both systems, yet people like you can get your mom to drop 500 dollars so you can play one game and ignore everything else it has to offer.
If you really owned both systems, these fanboy articles wouldn't get under your skin so much.
GAH.. can't wait. Think I'll go play the first again tonight.
@Ldubbz: If you're looking for an unbiased opinion, don't look at valve. MS has published one of their games and the founders were MS employees. But then again, Sucker Punch has some ex-MS employees as well...
On topic: I think the only noticeable difference between the two consoles is blu-ray.. and linear games like MGS/FF can just use multiple discs to counter this. Free-roaming games like infamous, on the other hand, would need another solution since there are no levels.
...
Why would they announce two "HUGE" games two weeks before E3?
I think there's some uncharted info coming out tomorrow... not sure what the other game is. The Heavy Rain embargo lifts next week, so maybe we'll see some WKC or more MAG?
Thank god it's not an exclusive weapon or something.
I think KZ2 has better graphics technically, but a lot of people probably prefer Uncharted's art design. Not knocking KZ2, but U2 has a nice palette and excellent art direction.
Like you said, the fact that you won't be two inches from textures like you were in KZ2 helps, too.
So what's the significance of the storm clouds?
I guess the ensuing sh!t-storm that will happen if MGS4 was announced for 360?
And why do the keywords say "MGS" and "NEXT" instead of "MGS4"?
EDIT: And below you say it will be announced at the end of MS' conferences.. so why does it say there will be an announcement May 18th?
and thanks for the disagree =)
"Anyhow, Im no exclusive wh0rebag like some of you. RE5, SF4, and Skate 2 say hello from both sides. And inFamous has yet to be reviewed by anyone besides IGN, so....."
OPM UK and Game Informer have both reviewed it and given it 9s.
I noticed shadow pop-ins, the weird water, and how he only moved like two feet when he did that roll. However, I highly doubt that stuff won't get ironed out before release... and everything else looked awesome.
I loved the melee, and when the last guy got killed his gun flew away from him realistically. I love those little touches.
MGS4?
Brace yourself!!
You forgot Velvet Assassin. tsk tsk.
Actually the game was supposed to come out in '08 but got pushed back... so dunno how it was rushed.
The game was in development over three years. Six weeks isn't going to change much.
People also seem to forget that this is an open-world game. I read a preview that said the visuals were good, but not KZ2-quality good... wtf.
it seems like mario kart is in the top 5 every month.
Wasn't really interested in this, but it's slowly creeping up on my radar.
Can't wait for more info.
