After seen all the new videos of it...this game is going to propel the PSP to super status!
This game is looking totally awesome! I never knew it was gonna be so bloody good looking!
Add a motion controller to the PS2....or add extreme motion control to the PS3 using a wand like device, or use more interactivity with the PS Eye....or come out with a new HD PSeye. Create a division that only make casual games for the PS3 and all of them are distributed by the PSN network for both the PS3 and PSP. Keep going strong on the PS3 to PSP integration. Come out with a PSP2 with a touch screen and at least 16 GB of flash memory or a small 30GB plus harddrive...but price it less tha...
The wiimote is good, but anybody can copy the wiimote design and implement it on the PS3...they just have not done it yet...heck they could to it with the original wiimote...if they really wanted to...remember the wiimote is bluetooth 2.0...somebody just needs to make some drivers on the PS3...
Also some downloadable content like new missions.
The graphics were killer and the sound was awesome in Lair!
And bluray will not go anywhere...they are about to release 100GB disc that will work in all current bluray players.
people want to own their disc, or if they rent from netflix (now a bluray supporter) they can rent a few movies and get them now or in a day or say...and not wait for them to download on their slow internet connections...you need at least a 50meg pipe to get some good HD downloads...and all HD downloads are 720p...not 1080p like bluray....and the sound is better ...
Its all about price right now...amazon.com has most blurays selling for around $20 each...once that drops to DVD levels...around $15 each...then it is all over for DVD...this will happen by end of 2008. The players will drop to $299 for the PS3, and sub $149 for standalone by christmas 2008.
DVD is so old school and if you can not tell the difference from 1080p vs 480p...they you need to get your eyes checked at the eye doctor.

Denying RROD, and the 30 percent failure rate for at least a year! Microsoft is as corrupt a company as there is. Sony maybe arrogant but they are not corrupt. Even nintendo is arrogant...but people do not seem to care...old tech can only take you so far...and nintendo will ultimately fail with the wii because of not being HD. In two years everybody will have an HD TV and will want bluray...once you get an HDTV you will never go back...the price will drop to $300 for a 32 inch 1080i\720p and ...
Alot of people do not play pirated games on it...that is just the minority of people who are doing that...most people buy the games and play it.
And it will make having a wii worthless...they could do it..
All the PS3 has to do is drop to Sub $300 price point...and it is all over for the Wii...The only reason why the wii is winning now is because of price.
Hardware wise the wii is nowhere near next gen...about the only thing next gen it has is built in wifi and bluetooth 2.0...something even the Xbox 360 does not have as standard.
It was a successful game but it did not push sales of the Xbox 360 to bury the PS3....The PS3 still sold more consoles in 2007 than Microsoft did with the Xbox 360. Microsoft is on a downward slope from now out out...all they can do now is lower the price and go price war against the PS3...but Sony knows how to do price wars too..

The DLC for GTA4 for the xbox 360 version is not suppose to come out for at least 6 months maybe not even till next year. You will have to play for it...its not gonna be free...6 months from the release of GTA4...people will be playing Little Big Planet, Resistance 2, Final Fantasy 13...ect....ect....maybe even Gears of War 2.....
They will forget GTA4...GTA5 will be PS3 exclusive....

All the people sitting on the fence are PS2 owners...they either got a Wii or are waiting for the Price of the PS3 to drop less than $400 or even $300...A real Xbox 360 is the premium model at $349...the core has not harddrive and you need a harddrive so you have to go with the premium or elite at $449...
The $399 PS3 is really all you need in the PS3 world..you do not need backwards compatibility because you will never ever play an old PS2 game after all the games come out for...
This is sony's year...and GTA4 will sell more on the PS3 than the Xbox 360......The Xbox 360 has no exclusives that can compare to the PS3 exclusive comming out this year.
The PS3 almost hit 10 million in the first year....the Xbox 360 did not do that and was at least $200 cheaper than the PS3....

There is no way HD-DVD can survive...it is dead...they need to show the white flag and give up and join blu..

Plus when GTA4 comes out in April...Sony will sale 4 million PS3 that month too...so by the time both of these games are out...the PS3 could be at 18 million when it all said and done...there is no way the Xbox 360 is gonna sell over 8 million units this year, when they could not do it last year when they have all there awesome games like Halo 3, and Bioshock...
MGS4 and GTA4 will sell PS3 consoles.....and sony could still drop the price of the 40GB system to $299...if they do ...
They they charge us about $10 per episode and its only like 2 to 3 episodes?...by the time these episodes come out in 2009...GTA5 will be announced exclusive on the PS3......nobody will care...and we all know Rock Star will make some content for the PS3....

My PS3 has been on folding@home since March 2007...and I am close to 900 workunits with no issues...I serious do not think a Xbox 360 can stay on 24 hours a day for a year at peak processing power and stay alive.
They xbox 360 was rushed to market and there was no way to put in HD-DVD...even if they did...it would still have a 30 percent failure rate..unless that would have let toshiba build it... Sony put in its heart and soul into the PS3...now since they won the format war...sony will continue to lower the price of bluray and the PS3...You will see PS3 at $299 this fall..and stand alone bluray players will pop up like wildfire....the chinese made ones will be less than $150...
