He just said that sometime during this summer microsoft will stop allowing computer manufactures to preload Windows XP...they will only be able to load Vista with SP1.
This is just another news story from a pissed off HD-DVD owner trying to make the dead format have more life...according to amazon.com...bluray still rules and will always rule against the deader than dead HD-DVD format.

Oh and those who say DD will take over this year...lay off the crack pipe...not going to happen till at least 5 more years...and it will never take over physical media...if people want to rent then maybe they wil...

Price for bluray and HD-DVD discs are the same...about $5 to $10 more than a DVD...and the price is now comming down for bluray movies...they will be about the price of a DVD in about a year...i am talking movies you can buy in the store. Everybody in the sun will start making bluray players in the next year......
The PS3 has GTA4 and GT5 prologue, which already sold over a million preorders...and is a downloadable game from the PSN network....
GTA4 will sell good on both platforms...but will probably sell better on the PS3 since most people who played GTA3 played it on the PS2. GTA4 will sell PS3 hardware...so will MGS4 and even GT5 Prologue...
Its really curtains for the Xbox 360 till Gears of War 2 but by then Resistance 2 and Killzone 2 will be out to counter...and do ...

It is the best bluray player and will be the best video game system of all time after 2008 is over and done with.
Do not get me wrong the Xbox will get Gears of war 2...but you can only squeeze so much goodness on a DVD-9 disc...i am amazed they did it with GTA4.

Their hardware is crap...and they shot their load early in 2007 and still did not sale as many consoles as the PS3 or Wii. Halo 3 was suppose to bury the PS3 and Wii and it did not. It sold a lot of discs but not consoles. GTA4 will do the same. Only the 17.7 million Xbox 360 owners will by the game...it will not sale more Xbox 360 consoles...but on the PS3 it will sale more consoles and the 11 million users have the potential to buy it also.

Microsoft has yet to do this on xbox live....show me Halo 3 or bioshock available for download on xbox live to your harddrive for less money than the DVD!
Sony did this with awesome games...Warhawk and GT5 Prologue...both are available on bluray and downloadable from the PSN network.
If microsoft was so confident on Digital Distribution..they they would make all their games available for download...but wait most 360 owners only have a 20 GB harddrive....with less...
PS3 may not have full full divx support put it will just like any other bluray player getting full divx support. Sony has licensed it for the PS3 and it will get it in the next update.
Because it will have HOME integration and the Dualshock 3 controller feels better in my hands than the Xbox 360 controller.
And release a White and Black Model sku...and the MGS4 80 Gb model will be $399...
My predictions....
Bluray will be around for at least 10 years...just like DVD.
Bluray is 1080p 50 GBs at the moment...and will be 100GB by end of this year...and maybe up to 200GB by 2010.
Full 1080p HD with 7.1 sound uncompressed is way better than 720p highly compressed video and sound which is what is offered in Apple TV and XBOX Live.

There is no way Gears of War 2 will beat this game. Remember gears of war 1 was a short game...short because they ran out of disc space.
Lost Oddessey is a joke! Multiple discs are in the era of the Playstation 1. There is no reason to have a 4+ disc game.
The Xbox 360 is now on a downwards slope....microsoft is now screwed. Resistance 2 and Final Fantasy 13 will both be 50 GB bluray games...both not even remotely possible on the old outdated Xbox 360...

There is no point in the PS4 is having a massive hard drive...a 500 GB or less is fine...what the PS4 needs is at least 1 eSATA port!
eSATA is the way to go...gives you SATA speeds and external eSATA drives are cheap too...Sony will make it happen first.
Graphics and gameplay can both coexist and work on the same system. The Wii could have been the ultimate machine...but its not because it is using dated hardware.
