I got into the Metal Gear Solid 4 online beta for free...and the firmware 2.30 came out on time...downloading right now on my 10 mpbs connection....I can not wait to see the new store...did u guys know they can put dts HD master audio in a game too...does anybody know if MGS4 will support dts HD master audio? That would be awesome if it did....The power of PS3 and bluray....about to hit 1200 work units in folding@home too...this is gonna be a good week....

The PS3\PS2 and Wii are hotter in Europe than the Xbox 360...

There really is no way your PS3 is damaged if you tried it once...
If it is an you have to send in your PS3 for repair why would you even tell sony you tried this trick?

I thought the 80 GB has the same fan test as the 40 GB....
There is no way you can just turn on your 60 GB PS3 and turn it upside down...suspended in the air...to make the fans come on highspeed...and overheat your PS3 in less than 1 min. There is no way you can do serious damage to your pS3 if you are doing this for just one time or every 6 months or so.
The Xbox 360 is a different story..you can overheat that sucker just by playing a game.
The 40/80 GB ps3s may have a hardware based test for the fans...which is cool......
Somebody prove it? All you are doing is reversing your console and bringing on the fans to full to blow out the dust...there is no way you will overheat your console if you do this just once...remember you are only doing this for less than a min...and it will blow out all the dust that compressed air could not get. This trick does work...but you do not want to use it all the time.
The 40\80 GB PS3 fan test is better, its unknown why that fan test does not work in the 60 GB.

Its tacked on or has crappy controls in most other wii games....even smash brotha brawl....you really need a regular joystick for fighting games....even mario galaxy is wierd controlling using the wiimote-numchuck..also nintendo needs to upgrade their design...that wired numchuck is crappy...the wire gets into the way...i know there is a third party adapter to get it wireless...but that is $30 for each wii mote....so why is everybody up in arms about Sony or even microsoft releasing a new or ...

You need a receiver that can handle LPCM over HDMI...most newer recievers that can handle HDMI 1.3 or 1.3a will do it.
They can be found at $400 and up...
