I got a friend who has a 73 inch 1080p DLP and the PS3 is simply amazing on this screen.
He has all the stuff turned on: RGB full, 24 FPS, SuperWhite...Some of this you can set to automatic.
The PS3 was and is made for the future!
Digital Downloads will never work.....in the near future...maybe in 10 years yes....first of all none of this is 1080p with 7.1 sound....none of this is read HD even on Apple TV 2 and microsoft xbox 360 live...the bit rates are too low.
Bluray and HD-DVD (now dead) are much better in quality!
And they can always add in custom soundtracks into the PS3 version with a patch...we have PS3 games that have custom soundtracks, ie High Velocity Bowling!

And you can not get 1080p content in Xbox live or Apple Itunes!
bluray will be the standard to see 1080p movies and soon there will be 4k tvs that will show 4 1080p screens and upscale 1080p movies to 4400p movies...they showed them at CES2008....
720p is going to be so old school in about 1 to 2 years....
microsoft is screwed...apple can scale faster than microsoft since their Apple TV already has a bigger harddrive...so Apple TV will get to 1080p...
You have to set up the PS3 to it optimal settings on the TV and sound system you are using for the best comparison. The PS3 is Tweakable in video and sound settings...much more than the Xbox 360.
Can we say 24 fps, deepcolor, Full RGB support...

Becuase the hardware was still defective...and we all know the PS3 has the better overall hardware...the system is quiet and it has a failure rate of less than 1 percent compared to 33 percent for the Xbox 360....now if microsoft would have put some effort into the first xbox 360 and made the hardware as reliable as the PS3 and put in HD-DVD...but remember HD-DVD did not get released till 2006.....microsoft had to release the xbox 360 in 2005 just to get its lead it has now...but in the end t...

I agree that they may not have opened up all the Xbox 360 boxes to check and see if they are HDMI or not but the manufacturing date in actually on the box...so you do not have to open up the box.
What will make KZ2 different is the lighting
that is real weak, when warhawk is 32 players and the original resistance is 40 players and the Resistance 2 is going to be 60 players...and 8 players co-op? My gosh!!! nobody has done this before on a console!

But it is going to have to come out in 2008 if the Xbox 360 wants to have a must have game in 2008...you will not see bioshock 2 till 2009...you will see Heavenly Sword 2 and Uncharted 2 by the time bioshock 2 comes out and bioshock 2 will probably come out on the PS3 also...so 2008 is the year of the PS3...
We might get two price drops....$50 in July 2008 and another $50 in October 2008..or just a big $100 price drop in July 2008 during the E3 2008.

They already demonstrated it at CES 2008....85 percent of all the current bluray players are PS3 consoles.
How is the xbot 360 killin the PS3? Remember 33 percent of xbot 360s are defective....so really they are close....but the wii is spanking everybody and it really has no games...so microsofts it has games arguments really holds no water...people really do not care...they bought the wii...and now they are buying the PS3...the PS3 will catch up to the xbox 360 in 2008...the PS3 may never catch up to the wii this year...but in the end it will sell like over a 100 million units like the PS2...the ...
