The difference is the jab doesn't even make sense here. Microsoft has been doing this for years. Maybe if they hadn't said "Thanks for smelling that something was up.", they wouldn't look like such hypocritical douchebags. I hate to sound like Microsoft and Activision, but shouldn't Activision sue for this? How is this not advertising Destiny, the game? They specifically mention the game itself. This wouldn't be the first game advert that doesn't directly show the game. How is this any different?

I like how buildings and people are randomly 800x shinier than they should be. If that's supposed to be wetness, it's not very well done. I also like how they had access to modern makeup, which is one of the most annoying things whenever a 'beautiful amazing mindblowing skyrim mod' article, where every female character has her face made up like a stripper.
All in all it just looks like a last gen game with mods, and if they mean current gen single player rpg...

a few things of note here.
1: who gives a sh!t about madden anymore?
2: the game overall doesn't look as good as other PS4 and Xbox One games, so it's just a matter of article author or develop incompetence and not the actual console power
3. the lighting itself doesn't look better, it's just that the xbox one has lens flare effects and the ps4 doesn't either because Madden team genuinely sucks, or because MS paid them to suck
This is all well and good, but once DX12, The Cloud, 10% GPU from Kinect, and Releasing in More Territories all combine to form the Super Mecha XBox One, you'll see. You'll all see.
Also you can't snap apps on PS4, and Ryse is best looking game ever.
