I wonder how much of my blood I would have to sell for one of these.
He and 1 other guy run "Eat. Sleep. Play." Jaffe hasn't worked directly for Sony in years.
Edit: Also, you're an idiot.
Now that's a news title that'll get you some hits.
Hasn't it already been established that the PS3 IS getting a price drop since they cut production costs by a pile recently?
It makes me sad sometimes that the third-person-view is from behind Lara instead of in front :(
Clearly the AA is slightly better on the ps3 for this game, like 8x vs. 4x or something, but there's other things too. Like the extremely subtle texture differences (which can most easily be seen on the face of a statue in one of the pics), and the extremely obvious lighting and contrast differences. AA is great and all, but I think the contrast just looks better on the 360, and I'm not about to go tweak my TV all out to try and make the PS3 version look the same because then everything else ...
You do realize no one is talking about Fable don't you?
All these glitches aside (some of which are excusable as they've introduced new game mechanics), this match making BS makes the online almost unplayable. It's like Epic didn't think their user base possessed the capacity to decide who or how they wanted to play and asked Hitler what would be better. F***ing douche bags ruined my favorite Live game.
Although, it seems like a huge waste to have Hugh Laurie play a mute protagonist. And Freeman definitely has to be mute. Infact, do you really even need an actor to play freeman? Why not just use a camera man and make him wear black and orange gloves? I'm not even sure that I'm kidding.
You can at least lie about your WoW playing habits, but alot of employers these days do google searches on prospective employees and check their myspace pages and crap to look for things they might consider "undesirable" traits. Watch your asses out there folks. Privacy will soon be a chapter in your history books.
Half of the whole God damned game is scripted sequences. At least half of the trailer is gameplay. Remember the simon-says bits that helped make GoW fun in the first place? I got $5 that says he pressed x triangle square (in that order) to kill that centaur thing.
I hear what you're saying, but KZ2 has been in production for 3 years, and is doing all sorts of craziness that no one else is doing graphically. And just because they're being made by the same umbrella corporation doesn't mean that the individual studios are sharing tech. Look at Gears 1 vs. Halo 3. Gears 1 looked way better than Halo 3 from a technical standpoint, and came out a year earlier.
Also, God of War doesn't have to be as detailed as an FPS because of camera perspectiv...
but after hearing Jaffe and some other bloggers talk about it, I really thought it was going to make me s*** my pants. Maybe Jaffe and all them got to see a kick-ass boss fight or something.
The gameplay looks kick ass as usual though. Not to mention the violence. Delicious sexy violence... In your pants.
The 360's just cheaper man. That's all there is to it. If the PS3 cost $200 I could guaran-damn-tee you that they'd be selling at the same rate. And the mic wasn't standard for the 360 when I bought it, so that has jack-all to do with the success of XBL. No, the reason XBL is doing better than PSN is because MORE PEOPLE OWN XBOX! If the same number of people owned PS3s, PSN would obviously be topping out XBL, just because it's free. And seriously, if the PS3 controller feels too light for you...
It IS succeeding as a console, even if it's not beating out the other consoles. This is all representative of the Japanese business model, which is to proliferate the market with proprietary technologies at a loss in order to generate revenue based on brand familiarity and accompanying licensing agreements. It might sound dumb, but this technique works so well that MS adopted it for this generation. That's why you can buy an Xbox for less than the manufacturing price, and why they lost millio...
How many "members" can you fit in your "man cave"?
Serious thought needs to be put into abolishing that term forever.
Having never been a member of the camp that believed Halo was the second coming (or first coming or whatever), I really fail to see the difference. I can give credit where it's due and applaud their integration of a 2 weapon swap system, and regenerating health, but otherwise I don't see anything very impressive. I think the only reason it's as popular as it is, is because back in the day it was the first decent multiplayer game to be on Xbox exclusively, so everyone played it all the time. I...
but it would have been an absolute tragedy if Fable2 didn't receive SOME recognition. I can however admit that I probably did end up playing Fable 2 more than any other game this year and if I had to rate a game based on how much fun I had for how much I played (or seconds times fun), Fable would win. Fun/second would definitely be a tougher call... probably LBP with honorable mention for MGS and GoW.
Yeah, and then half of the Gears games could suck big hairy balls just like half of the CoD games! BRILLIANT!
I know you don't have any bubbles left to respond to me, so I'm not going to make fun of you too hard, but seriously, I hope you realize what a poor idea that is.
Fifteen f***ing minutes of this guy brushing sand out of his vagina makes this a news-worthy article?
You sir, are a f***ing hypocrite, and you are feeding the beast that won't die. Maybe YOU should do something "more constructive" with YOUR time... Like jogging.
