Funny, I don't recall CoD being made by Nintendo. Yet I'm pretty sure you already knew that.
'Can a game with ugly graphics and controls that aren't exactly top notch still be worth playing?'
No, and anyone that says otherwise doesn't want to play a good game, they just want to look at pretty moving pictures.
Serious question: how old are you?
Wait.....people actually think the stories in video games are on par with Hollywood's best?
LOL I have yet to play a game that matches even half the intensity and emotion that Cast Away has. So no, video games stories are no where near Hollywood's best.
Ugghh, just what we need, more games where we spend most of our time WATCHING it rather than actually PLAYING it
But the DS library has games in damn near every genre. Saying that you can't find anything to play on the DS is like saying you can't find anything to play on the PS2 or SNES.
^^^^^^Except history shows us that it will sell like preceding Nintendo handhelds and not like Nintendo's consoles.
Then again, you may be one of those people who foolishly believe Nintendo's handhelds aren't supported by 3rd parties, which would explain why you would believe that stuff in the first place.
"I mean hey, I used to own every Nintendo handheld until it went to the DS and they were all worth it. I am just curious if its just the same thing new generation. For me the reason I bought them like that back then is because from the start there were so many games I wanted to play it was a no brainier."
Wait.......please for the love of god tell me that you're not insinuating that the DS does NOT have a huge library of games. Because if that's what you...
Yawn, another boring troll-bait article. Nothing to see here.
All I know is that realism ruined the new SSX game. If they make another one, it better be more like Tricky or SSX3.
Ignore the trolls. Speaking out of their ass is just like breathing to them.
Why should they not make new IPs for their handhelds? You want them to stagnate there as well?
What is really hilarious is that if some Nintendo fanboy said the same thing about Metal Gear starting on Nintendo and thus should have remained on their systems thereafter, you would be the first one calling that guy a troll.
Silly fanboys and your hypocritical logic.
There's a reason why you have one bubble you know.
Um, 3rd parties have always supported Nintendo's handhelds very well, and so far the 3DS looks to be treated no differently than its predecessors. Do not let Nintendo's console side of things make you believe otherwise.
Oh look, the infamous "Anyone who owns a Nintendo product must be a child" retort.
Marketing the Vita as an Ipad competitor (or even a smartphone/tablet PC competitor) would be highly foolish, seeing as those products offer much more functionality and features than the Vita. Plus, your general consumer finds the investment into a tablet PC/smartphone as a necessary expenditure, whereas purchasing a handheld is still viewed as a luxury. Really, what Sony needs to do is recognize that the Vita is a handheld first, and as such should start an aggressive marketing campaign sh...
Funny, because I saw more 14-50 yr olds with a DS than I did a PSP, and the 3DS and Vita are marketed no differently than their predecessors.
If you believe this, then you must also believe that PCs are eating away at console market share.
Don't bother with commenters like Knushwood. They get absolutely infuriated when any form of praise is thrown in Nintendo's direction, so their comments will be strictly from a biased standpoint.
