They also had a multiuse code, which was posted around 2 am EST. No site reported it, since it would be dead by the time anyone really saw it, but they did give everyone ample chance.
"But youll only be able to play the IGC games for 15 days... "
Most PS1 games aren't that long and even shorter if you can't read Japanese like most people here. You can easily beat at least 3 games within a 15 day period even if you put in only 20 hours.
" Not including download time"
Not sure why you include this, since PS1 classics are typically small. A few can be larger, but most are well under a gig. Not to m...
Thats cool? Some people just want to play some games that never came over (like LSD) and this trial is more than enough time to finish at least a few of them.
I personally like Mega Gengar a bit more, but some of these are pretty awesome. I am happy that there still seems to be more to discover. I was worried leaks would remove all the mystery.
Considering many people liked the earlier episode of Futurama (same with The Simpsons and a bunch of other programs that perhaps overstayed their welcome...), I can't see it being a big deal to most. If anything, people will just be irked that they can't watch it.
As FunAndGun pointed out, Sony is currently running a spend $50, get $10 dollar back promo. This post is simply Sony trying to sell that promotion to people who might not be aware of that promo or make them aware Plus counts. The only requirement (which is true for this one) is that you bought it with SEN / PSN cash. Buying a 12 month voucher form a store isn't eligible for either (as they're the same promo).
To be fair, Xbox Live constantly goes on sale, so it's not that difficult to get a Xbox Live subscription for as much or less than Plus. Not saying I think one is better than the other, but they do go on sale a lot.
Are you listening to my point AT ALL?
It's a simple rewording of the promo I linked you to. Literally everything about it syncs up.
That promo:
Get $10 for Every $50 Spent,
This promo:
Renew Plus ($49.99), get $10 dollars. As I already quoted, Plus is rounded up to $50.
That promo:
for every $50 you spend using your SEN Wallet, you’ll receive a $10 credit back.

I don't see how it being a new email makes it news. You're still in essence doing nothing more than pointing out this promo. Even the promo itself says the following
"With these savings, there’s no better time to become a PlayStation Plus member. Pick up a 1-year membership for $49.99, get $10 back and take advantage of all the great features you get with PS Plus, including Instant Game Collection access and exclusive discounts."
Is this no...
How is this news? This is LITERALLY (even if it was via an email) nothing more than Sony or Terminal Gamer pointing out the $10 dollars for every $50 spent promo ( http://blog.us.playstation.... ).
Sony has confirmed in the past that they round up for PlayStation Plus (they actually said a "few" cents won't matter), so that is th...
You can, but it's also a costly solution.
Thats MSRP + Mark Up + Shipping and could easily end up costing you 20 - 40% more than the locals are paying.
It's a shame that things like this sometimes get "forgotten" along the way.
@ Roccetarius
The bogey's were problematic, but you had to get the sphere enemies first. This always left you in the open at the start and they were far more deadly if you didn't dispatch them asap, which is why I loved that challenge.
Well some games do it right and many do it wrong.
I always felt like Vanquish had a great way to have both. Like the main game (even on some of the normal / low hard tier) were COMPLETELY doable by someone of average skill and minimal interest in depth. However, if you wanted to have difficulty, then you had the tactical challenges. Unlike the rest of the game, these challenges were more so about doing the "right" thing and planning ahead, than simply winning them....
It doesn't honestly matter WHAT you call them, since they're a problem regardless. There are good ways to go about things and bad ways to go about things.
Good way?
Don't buy it. You can whine as much as you want on the internet and it's impossible to tell if it makes any sort of difference. The main reason why M$ cares right now, is the fact that the PS4 is outselling it and probably to a lesser degree all the negative articles. However, I d...
Collector's Editions are not rip offs per se, though they do have 1 problem... cost. Back in the day we saw some pretty cool editions for a little bit more money, some examples include inFAMOUS 2 (backpack was really nice!), LittleBigPlanet 2 (sackboy plush and a bunch of DLC) and Demon Souls ($10 dollars for a slip cover / strategy guide is a no brainer), but recently we're moving towards "better" and "better" editions that simply make no sense in terms of cost. L...
I doubt this will sell really well, so you can probably find it down the road.
"I bought The Walking Dead because of all the rave reviews "
I don't recall a single Survival Instinct review above 6, so this is obviously the Telltale game.
"I forced myself to finish it because I wanted the Platinum"
Finishing the Telltale version gives a platinum (if I recall correctly), so this is 100% about the Telltale point and click game that won GOTY awards (which is closer to this topic too) and not SI.
"Some people like the zombie brainless yearly shooters... and people with taste buy these games"
No need to be an ***hole and claim that you're better than anyone else. The thing some people (like you) need to understand, is that "taste" is a conceptual thing, which is going to be different from person to person.
It's not like you're a cultured gamer because you rather play .Detuned, Ico, SOTC, Heavy Rain, Beyond: Two Souls, J...
Thats good to hear, but I am sure it's nothing more than PR talk. Like they said the same thing about Catherine ( http://collectorsedition.or... ), yet they still had ample stock on Amazon. Even got discounted a bit over time.
