We'll have to see what these "enhancements" are - hard to think they'll be enough to get me to buy the game again for another platform. I'd probably rather spend my money on a game I haven't played before. Good news for PS3 owners that haven't played it at all though.
I agree. Anyone who doesn't think so is "unethical and a liar" ;)
The way it's described makes it sound like Windows 7 will just be a better working version Windows Vista - still based on the Windows Server 2003 kernel? Come on! Going from the information here this should be called a patch (or SP) and not a "new" OS.
When I saw this video (last week) I found it pretty interesting (hilarious) how they had the drummers talking about how tough the drums are and how they can stand up to them playing the same way they do on their real kits. If Chad Smith hit those drums as hard as he hits his drums they would probably break before he made it though a song. He hits HARD.
Also - what is the point of the the pads having velocity as far as gameplay? Isn't the point to sound like the original recording...
They are talking about making the Facebook App platform open source - not the Facebook source code. This is a way to make the platform better without having to invest more money into it. This is to increase their profits - it's not some act of benevolence. Not that there's anything wrong with that.
While I think it's possible for games using Unreal to look interesting and fairly Unique (Bioshock) it seems like for every one of those we have a dozen or two that just look the same, boring way. It's like devs think that licensing Unreal eliminates the need for art direction - or maybe they can't afford art direction after licensing Unreal.
Yeah! Stupid SpeedTree! ;)
They are trying to get the last of the current gen iPhone supply.
What a moron. Since consoles are "game blocking" devices I guess the next generation will just beam into my brain w/ no hardware whatsoever huh?
So you're saying I have to be a doctor in order to own a PS3?
@ 13.1 - I sure hope you're right. Have you seen confirmation of that anywhere?
Rub-a-Dub FTW. I totally got my monies worth. Fun times!
I agree w/ all three of those. And where the heck is Daikatana?!? :)
Only 10/10?? What's with the low score! I'm writing an angry email - can anyone translate into Italian??
I don't think they like you less if you auto-decline while you are on a mission. To avoid them liking you less in general just accept their invites then call them back and cancel. When you accept they will like you a little more and when you cancel they will like you a little less so you stay where you were without much effort.
I agree that this aspect of the game can be mildly annoying - but sometimes it's pretty funny when they call and you're on a mission.
Yeah - I don't really care for the mod from an aesthetic standpoint.
If I'm honest my biggest disappointments this gen so far have been Halo 3, Gears of War, and Assassin's Creed. This stems from all of them being hailed as fantastic, perfect-scoring, must-play games - and, in my opinion, not living up to their reputations.
Fans of Halo and Gears feel free to disagree - it's just my opinion :)
I actually finished AC, but it nearly killed me! There were some cool aspects to that game, but the list of things that drove me crazy (in a bad way) about it is far far longer.
I personally found Halo 3 disappointing - I didn't think that the single player at all made up for the shortcomings of Halo 2 the way that Bungie said it would. My ability to be disappointed isn't influenced by ratings or sales figures, just my personal experience with the game. I don't think it's a stretch to say that Halo 3's massive sales and rampant high-scores have as much to do with the marketing muscle behind the game as anything else.
They did do some cool stuff with mult...
...the horror... can we just pretend GH doesn't exist anymore? That would be preferable to what Activision is doing with the series.
