It seem like any game that doesn't have Gears or Halo Day One sales is doomed (by media and fanboys alike). LBP is going to be just fine.

I think Burnout Paradise and Criterion/EA have proven corporate DLC hasn't undermined anything. I'm all for expanding my gaming experiences via DLC. IF it is worth it. And this is definitely worth it.
Hmmm...3 maps for $10 (one month after release) or 1 level pack that has pre-made levels, boss battle, paintball guns AND all of it can be used to create your own MGS themed level for $6. Do you really not see the difference?

Fable is unplayable for me. I've tried different HDDs, installing the game...nothing works. In a 1hr play session, the damn thing freezes (to the point I have to shut off the 360) every 10min or so. Gears solo has been bug free (knock on wood), but multiplayer is just not as fun as Gears 1 was...due to bugs.

And Microsoft said the RROD was only happening to the "vocal minority", Live Anywhere and IPTV were coming and the 360 didn't need HDMI. It's the circle of life!

I love it when people post the titles of games they have ZERO information and use that as a platform to debate. Couple of things:
1) Mass Effect 2 will more than likely be a timed exclusive, but that's up in the air. "Mass Effect 2, the second in a planned trilogy of sci-fi role-playing games from developer BioWare, will be exclusive to the Xbox 360, but possibly for a short time only, a company spokesman told the British gaming site CVG today."

I know, but the optimist in me likes to think the gaming press isn't biased, just misguided in their love for the 360. When I look at the 3 retail games I have for the 360, 2 of them are broken (Fable 2 and GoW2).

Just wrapped up playing and I have to agree. Great game, don't get me wrong, but for Socom to be deducted points and sh1t all over for its issues, how this game has the score it does is a mystery.

I just downloaded and installed PlayOn on my media server. You get a 14day free trial then you have to buy a license for $30. After plugging in my Hulu info and Netflix info (another 14 day free trial), I decided to test it out. FLAWLESS VICTORY. Seriously, the Netflix streaming was identical to the quality on the 360. Hmmm, $50 a year or a one time $30 license...
