Very slick and very responsive. There is a lot of backtracking in the menus however. Other than that, the avatars still suck (even after creating one), but it is a fast process. Good job MS! Still a little too Nintendo-ish and not as sophisticated as the XMB, but an awesome improvement over the blades. There are ads everywhere though.
PSN Movie service doesn't directly compete with Blu Ray. There's no 1080p and you can't purchase an HD movie that is also available on Blu Ray disc. They aren't meant to compete with one another but compliment each another. You really are a tard dude.
I just got a 360 and could give a damn. Rent online from Blockbuster. It's a better deal.
SD movie streaming is not going to hurt Blu Ray sales ESPECIALLY with The Dark Knight releasing. That's fanboy fodder you're hoping for.
It's mind boggling that people actual have a problem with this. Doh! That's right, this is Sony we're talking about.
Sony has absolutely no incentive to aid the competition. I see nothing wrong with this.
Thanks for the suggestions man, I appreciate them. Feel free to add me- SuMizzle
Be on the lookout for the request! Thanks for your suggestions. I'm on Steam/PSN/XBL as SuMizzle.
I had a 360 at launch and up to my 6th RROD on 3 different consoles ("fixed" by MS). I've really only missed out on the last 2yrs of 360 gaming. I had Gears, I beat Gears, I know what Gears 2 is about...I'll rent it. Beat Dead Rising. Beat Crackdown. Beat Dead Space (PS3). Own COD4 (PS3). All your suggestions are appreciated!
$60 bucks for a game that can be beaten in 3hrs on Normal. I'll pass.
1. Play on Normal
2. Play on Advanced
3. Hell, play on Expert. Only thing I've noticed is the numbers increase. But it is more difficult.
"38383883 hrs to make a duck semi-drive 1 way"
Damn you suck.
Over 200K in 4 days, yet, it's not what it should be? Isn't that great for a new IP?
Even with only 3 maps, I can play the game for hours.
Amen man. I remember when you could tell someone to try out a game and and they didn't ask about its Metacritic score. Ahhh, memories...
I think it's a safe bet to say most of the 360s sold were Arcades (especially when you consider the 20GB HDD for $20 program). I would be interested in seeing the breakout of consoles, but ultimately, outsold is outsold. I just don't think it is enough to be concerned with for Sony or the PS3. All Sony cares about is YTD growth, period. And with it being 56% higher than Oct. 2007 and PS3 software sales being 200% higher than Oct. 2007, I just don't see anyone at SCEA being upset.
...
Outsold by 181K (sitting at a $400 price point) isn't bad, not at all. Hell, with the economy the way it is I'm surprised it isn't less. The bottom line is just that, the bottom line. Expecting the console that costs double its competition to outsell said competition is insane. It was outsold last month by 115K. Is a 66k increase THAT impressive when the Wii grew over 200k?
That's partly my beef with the game. No one serves any purpose on the team. I would have liked to see each character have a skill that directly affected gameplay. Imagine if one member could take out Tanks with ease, then they die and you now have a giant ass whipping waiting for you. You'd change up your attack, your strategy. In this, you simply move from room to room to room to safe house, killing the same zombies over and over. Fun, yes for awhile. Buy it does get repetitive and...boring...
I felt the exact same way until I played the PC demo. Now I think this is more suitable:
Graphics are good.
Gameplay is generic.
Variety is non-existent.
Animations are crude and consist of around 3-4 varying types.
It plays like a mod of Half-life 2.
Not slightly.
