Fanboys aren't the problem, ignorance is. Everything has + and -. We all have preferences and some are able to disagree and debate without the need for Xbot or Droid or whatever clever little name they come up with next. But it's a fine line.

The entire optional/mandatory argument is unnecessary. Saying "I am not forced by any dev or Microsoft to sacrifice my time and hard drive space to install any game" contradicts "The only games that i will install are RPG's..." because you are sacrificing time and HDD space to install a slow loading game (the dev) to eliminate the vacuum like sound emitted from the the 360 (Microsoft).

The whole drive speed argument doesn't matter to me. No one cared about saving DVD drives or reducing drive noise last year...or the year before.

If that were true, this feature wouldn't have been added 3yrs later. Regardless, if spending 11 minutes installing a game that only saves you a few seconds of loading is your thing, go for it.
Correct. The OPTION to eat away 3-20GB of HDD space to shave 6-12 seconds off a game load doesn't seem worthwhile. Being optional is irrelevant.

I respect your differing opinion as well, but I stand by my statements. It WAS fun, but to be fair, I'm coming off playing the Killzone 2 beta and everything is ugly to me right now. But let's also be honest about Source...it's is old and ugly and L4D shows it (at least on the 360). However, the teamwork aspects felt no different than playing Team Deathmatch in XYZ Shooter. Communication is the key (as with anything TEAM based). Besides sneaking past a Witch or shooting the tongue off a smoke...
Played the 360 demo recently and it was good. Fun, but not some amazing experience I was expecting. The movie feel is surprisingly well done, but the gameplay itself (I understand it is a 2 level demo, but still) was kinda boring. Move from point A to B, shoot everything and get to a safe house. In no way am I saying it's garbage, but it isn't the masterpiece gaming media would have you believe. And it's ugly.

I totally agree with you Figboy. The beta has simply blown me away. The class system, the "perks" and the all out balls to the wall mayhem that can and will take place during Body Count is astounding. Nevermind the game runs silky smooth like a Zohan haircut. Nevermind the graphics are better than ANYTHING I've seen from a home console. If KZ2 can look as good as it does, how in the hell will God of War 3 look? IMHO, it makes COD4 look and play like Perfect Dark Zero.
By default you have to click the right analog stick to aim down the sight. However, you can change the layout so L1 is aim down the sight. It's Alternate 1 I believe.
Play Killzone 2 and you'll understand his "on their way down" comment.

I am STILL looking forward to Home, regardless if it has taken them some time to roll it out. Working in I.T., I can only imagine the amount of resources and technical hurdles (bandwidth utilization, host resources, network hops, etc) they are working through to provide every single PS3 owner a new take on online gaming/socialization (at least for consoles) for FREE. Not only are we as gamers ungrateful, but we're impatient spoiled little brats that expect things on our time table and not wha...
