We haven't even got an official release date here in the UK, let alone a demo confirmation.
Exactly like they were on that platform, the only difference being the spruced up graphics obviously. VII, VIII and IX may look dated, but the way they play is timeless.
More on topic, I'm gonna pass on XIII-2 judging by the reviews thus far. I got XIII day one and enjoyed it to an extent, but I just am not emotionally involved in the story and characters enough to warrant buying a sequel that's supposedly inferior.
and chances are I'll probably like it too, if Heavenly Sword and Enslaved are anything to go by.
You can still get the Limited Edition of this game for £37.99 at HMV - great value.

It's been so long since a Sly Cooper game came out, it will seem like a real blast from the past, but in the best possible way.
Is this an import review of the Japanese version or is the game out in Western countries soon? Last I knew, the game doesn't even have an official release date here yet, so why was OPM sent a review copy so early.
This is a great score though, and gets me even more hyped for this spectacular looking gem. 40% Studio Ghibli and 30% FFVII?! *drools*
It was the remix version though, the one that plays during the club scene in The Matrix. Made the game ten times more epic.
Sage words. Everyone always raves about how difficult the platinum for Mirror's Edge is, yet I obtained it in 6 days from beginning to end, just because I enjoyed the whole experience so dang much. It's true that, regardless of supposed difficulty, if you enjoy a game then the platinum can be easy.
They gave it 4.7 out of 10. That is one actually one of the highest scores the game has received!
First reviews are always the highest for a video game due to initial hype, and all the scores here seem very generous (9.5 for XIII-2?!).
At the same time, I really want SoulCalibur V, NeverDead and Asura's Wrath to be good, so maybe the scores rounded up here are a good sign of things to come. I especially want NeverDead to deliver; it looks like a good lark.
The demon dog thing has an cherubs face for an anus. Bit off-kilter that.
Looking good for SoulCalibur V. Thinking I may have to buy that.
In fact they're over a year old! I recall seeing them back when GameInformer unveiled its Downpour exclusive article. Who the hell approves this crap, seriously.
As for the game, now that we have a solid release date I can properly engage in hype mode and count down the days to its release. Open-world Silent Hill is an exciting proposition.
I'm a better person for having played it.
That said, if it's Criterion making Hot Pursuit 2 then I'll all over that shit like flies on an Ethiopian.
Downpour and The HD Collection will deliver the psychological scares this abomination has failed to achieve, I'm sure.
Book of Memories not so much.
The definitive survival-horror game. May I recommend getting a hold of the HD Collection, which hopefully will be coming out before Downpour.
Get a hold of Shattered Memories for the Wii at some point too. It's a 're-imagining' of the first game, but really they're nothing alike apart from names of the characters and locations. It's not particularly scary, but otherwise it's a really gripping game on the whole.
Seriously though....
Could be worse.
It's a great hands-on preview; she goes into depth regarding all the configuration options that there are in the options menu. Inverted controls are there this time (Vatra would be borderline bonkers not to include them this time), but there's also the choice of turning off the button prompts and shining effect on items, should the player prefer a more immersive experience. I think Vatra have merited much applause in trying to appease both the casual gamer and the hardcore Silent Hi...
I was worried that we had been forgotten about. Can't wait to try it out.
