...is Shenmue III.
I still have that same demo you speak of. I watched the FFVII trailer on it almost religiously. And when I got the game, it still exceeded expectations.
There must be something wrong with me.
I've got a Xbox 360, Wii and PS3 and I say...hells yeah you should! It's the best console of this generation now that it isn't priced at stupid dollars and silly cents.
Pfft. How many Zelda games have we all seen in our lifetime?
How many first person shooters set in dreary environments have we had to endure?
How many Team Ico games have we ever had the pleasure of immersing ourselves in?
Exactly.
that have 30 minute news breaks during the middle. Yay!
Snake
This is a serious question.
10 reasons to hate on Uncharted 2
1. Glazy, weird looking eyes on some characters
2. Gameplay segments featuring the relentless slaughtering of enemies, completely at odds with the family-toned nature of the cutscenes. Ooh look, Nathan made a pithy one-liner despite having just murdered a hundred mercenaries.
3. A formulaic end boss encounter
4. Respawning enemies
5. The femme fatale that didn't even look remotely attractive

that he didn't include the continued secrecy surrounding Tali's physical appearance as a reason. I wanna know wat dat bitch looks like!
Great article though, good fun to read and clearly intended to be taken with a pinch of salt. I loved the game and I'm sure the writer did too.

So that means we have to endure these cringe-worthy segments in order to get the trophies. Sorry guys, I love Yakuza 2 and 3, but Sega was right to cut the hostess clubs from number 3. The concept of hostesses is just flat out creepy, not to mention mind-numblingly dull when you have to romance them in virtual form.
Cutting out 20+ of the side missions though, that was pretty unacceptable.
and have kept all the games that I liked/loved. So I'm not as excited about this news as I'd like to be.
But you cannot deny, that 7 minute "trailer" is on-the-money brilliance. And it's nice to see that some choreographers still know how to shoot a fight scene. None of that frantic swing-the-camera-around-while- cutting-every-half-a-second nonsense that's prevalent in Hollywood these days.
But wasn't Legacy Of Kain: Defiance the third title in the Soul Reaver trilogy?
Can't stand that website, the layout is a personal affront to my eyes.
You know that bit in that film Scanners, where the guys head explodes? That's what would happen to me if Shenmue III was announced this year.
