I haven't played number 4 yet so I can't comment on that installment. But yeah, I love me some Yakuza even if it doesn't come close to the scope, atmosphere and sheer immersion of a Shenmue title.
Still the best combat racing ever made. That and its sequel.

But I sure hope Kaoru Sayama is in installment number 4. Her and Kazuma's relationship in the second game was a highlight of the series and I was saddened to see her only make a brief appearance in number 3.
These characters are Japanese, thus they ought to speak in their native tongue. Makes sense, non?
I found it to be an emotionally resounding experience and that's not something I can say for many games out there.

I've got my Dreamcast hooked up still, with both games. But I'd still buy both of these games again with these inclusions.
