In a way, the PSPGo almost seems like it's the "guinea pig" for testing the waters of an all digital system in the Console gaming market... I don't think Sony is expecting the PSPGo to sell as much as the standard PSP, especially at it's price, but the PSP2 (and future consoles) could very well be all digital. Seeing how people respond to the all digital system with the PSPGo before going with a brand new system that's all digital is a pretty good idea on Sony's part.

I watched the Gamespot video review, and before now I didn't really know what the spoiler was until someone in this thread mentioned it, b/c nothing really was a huge spoiler for me, but now that I think about it, I guess it was a pretty huge spoiler b/c Naughty Dog said that Uncharted 2 wouldn't have any of "things", like the first Uncharted did with the Zombies.
I've stayed away from ALL new Uncharted 2 gameplay video's on the web since E3, but the "spoiler"...
I have to admit, Nintendo did take a pretty big risk with the Motion Controls, because it was a pretty big departure from their other consoles that were more "hardcore" oriented, and many people (including me) thought that Motion Controls were going to be a fad on the Wii.
But when it comes to games, and constantly pushing the industry forward, I agree that Sony have been more risk-taking over the years with Playstation... there's all the new IP's they introduced, a new...
The logic this article presents is just ridiculous... In addition to that, this article only pertains to the U.K. market.
The PS3 already did over 1 million in under a month in September at $299, but I don't remember the 360 having that kind of impact in a non-holiday month when it first hit $199 last year... the 360 may do well in the U.K./U.S., but between both the 360 and PS3, I think the PS3 has it wrapped up this Holiday when it comes to a Worldwide basis.
I was never looking forward to this title in the first place, as God of War 3 and Dante's Inferno (mostly God of War) have gotten more of my attention in the Action Genre.
The devs. said that both versions should be pretty much equal upon release, and there's still several months before it comes out in the U.S., and since Devil May Cry 4 turned out very good on the PS3 well over a year and a half ago, there's simply no excuse for Bayonetta to end up being a lackluster PS3 port fr...
Heavenly Sword is NOT a bad game, and as far as hype goes, I'm not sure because I don't remember any hype for it... but who knows, maybe there was, and I just didn't know about it since I had not discovered N4G until Spring 2008.
Heavenly Sword has some of the best voice acting, and cinematic experiences that I've seen in PS3 games so far, and comes second to MGS4 in that respect to me, and that's saying a lot about the production values of it... even though it was short, I'm st...
Some of the quotes in this article were pulled out and were submitted as articles here on N4G recently, but it was very nice to actually read everything in it's entirety... one of the best interview articles with Yamauchi that I've probably ever read.
Sure, 5 years is a long wait for a Racing Sim, but just like with Fumito Ueda's games, Gran Turismo games have always been worth the wait for me, and sometimes achieving near perfection and a higher attention to detail than the comp...
I would buy a PSPGo, but there's just too many games coming out over the next couple of months of this year and during the first 2 Quarters of 2010 that I want, so I'll probably put my purchase on hold until maybe the end of next Summer.
Most people that already have a PSP probably won't be compelled to buy one, but I don't own a PSP and I'll be getting one eventually. The PSPGo may cost more, but I could see myself paying more for the Go than the Standard PSP simply because it's...
Well, I'm certainly not worried about Uncharted 2's sales, because if Killzone 2 sold 300K+ in February in the U.S. during a span of 2 days, I see no reason why Uncharted 2 shouldn't do at least 400-450K minimum in October's U.S. NPD.
Both Naughty Dog and Uncharted has an established fanbase, but Killzone 2 didn't have that going for it because the first Killzone game didn't fare to well with critics, and Guerrilla didn't have a very significant established fanbase either. If Unc...
I know that it's from Tim Schafer, but honestly I think Brutal Legend is going to be one of the games that get lost in the shuffle, and will probably be a "Sleeper Hit"... kinda like Dead Space last October, and don't get me wrong, I bought Dead Space day and date last year and totally loved it.
Plus, this game comes out the same day as Uncharted 2... most people with PS3's will probably be going for Uncharted 2, and I think it would have fared a lot better sales wise ...
This has to be about that "Epic Mickey" video game for the Wii I read about a couple of weeks ago.

I don't think it should have pushed all the way into 2010, because Early 2010 is already crowded to begin with and has been crowded for quite a while.
However, I DO think that it probably should have been delayed until about Late November, because it probably would have had a better debut in sales, and in addition to Ratchet, there's Demon's Souls and Uncharted 2 in October... 3 PS3 Exclusives in one month is a bit much, but regardless, I think A Crack in Time will go on to achi...
I'd love to see this game remade for the PS3 too... I still have my PS2 version, and it was loads of fun to play. My only gripe with the game was that I wanted more Monsters to choose from. I haven't played the game in years, but just reading this article makes me want to pop it in again.
Finding Gas Tanker Trucks, and throwing them across the level at enemies to be used like Explosive grenades was one of my favorite things to do in the game, and you could destroy almost every bu...
"That should play this during NFL games."
Just like Dog Beliefs, I see the Sony PS3 Slim Ad's multiple times EVERY Sunday (and Monday) while watching the NFL Football games, and I've been seeing them ever since the PS3 Slim first came out.... Sony's new marketing campaign is just phenomenal.
Kudos to Sony for such an amazing new Marketing Campaign... I guess Sony likes to save their best advertising when there's a PS3 price drop or something, because the last time Sony had Ad's this great was back after the PS3 dropped to $399 in Fall 07' and those Saliva, "Ladies and Gentlemen" commercials were running night and day... Sony needs to have Ad's like this all time.
Naughty Dog you guys have my money day one!, and I hope Ratchet gets a commercial campaign like...
Me personally, I want Naughty Dog to go back and do one more Jak and Daxter PS3 game to close off the franchise, then do another Uncharted game next to close off this generation.
I know a lot of people on here probably don't want to see them do Jak and Daxter for the PS3 because not a lot of people have even played the series, but I totally LOVED the franchise last gen. and bought all of em'... I would love to see what ND could do with Jak and Daxter on the PS3.

Sony should bring the collection to the PS3 simply because not enough people got to experience these games... if it wasn't for those "Jampack demo discs" and Demo Discs that came with the Official Playstation magazine, I probably wouldn't have played either Ico or SoTC last gen. either because that's how I discovered both games.
I still own and I've played both Ico and SoTC countless times over, but just Trophies and High Definition alone is more than enough justifica...
"a beta WITH GORE"
I honestly don't see how more Gore makes Ninja Gaiden 2 more special, because other than that, Sigma 2 is the better version in every aspect.
Sigma 2 may not have all the gore, but that's where God of War 3 steps in and fills that void.
"By the way how dat Ghostbusters BETA going ??"
LOL, when in doubt, the 360 guys turn to Multiplatform games, but we all know that most PS3 exclusives shine over Multipl...
The 360 version has the better gameplay?
Both of them have the exact same gameplay. The biggest difference is that Ninja Gaiden 2 has more Gore than Sigma 2, but more Gore doesn't make the gameplay better.
The PS3 version has the exact same gameplay, has better graphics, and has an Online Mode, it's the definitive version.
I'm more of a Single Player gamer myself and I pretty much only play games for the Campaign, but I doubt Single Player only games are going anywhere... there'll probably be just less and less of them.
With games $60 bucks a pop, I can understand why having Multiplayer in a game in addition to Single Player is important, but I'll pay $60 bucks for a Single Player game in a hot second as long as it's a game I'm highly looking forward to and has high production values.
