What's so funny about this is that the Xbox 360 wasn't built to last 10 years because: There's NO Blu-ray drive and because There's NO really advanced hardware inside of the 360 like the PS3's Cell Processor.

If the PS3 is catching up to Wii sales in Japan, just wait until FFXIII drops in Japan becauase it's going to be PS3 pandemonium in Japan then and the rush for PS3's in Japan will truly begin. The spike in PS3 sales the week of MGS4 in Japan of 80,000 PS3 units was NOTHING compared to what the impact of FFXIII will have.
The reason why a lot of people are complaining about another Halo game is because the Halo series is so overhyped. Too much hype can wear out a game franchise really fast in my opinion.

If there ever is a FFXII-2, it would definantly be interesting to see which system Square would develop it for. Personally I think that FFXII-2 could be a PS3 exclusive because the original title was released on the PS2, but there's no telling. SquareEnix is keeping Final Fantasy Versus XIII a PS3 exclusive, and that's why I think FFXII-2 has chance of being a PS3 exclusive as well.
I don't think that MGS4 is going to come to the 360. The way that Jack Tretton emphasized Metal Gear Solid 4 during the Sony Press Conference at E3 just put the nail in the coffin when it comes to those MGS4 on 360 rumors AGAIN in my opinion.

Almost every game on that list was pretty predictable.
But, Metal Gear Solid 4 is my favorite PS3 game with Uncharted being my second favorite, and Resistance being my 3rd favorite. Grand Theft Auto 4 is one of my least favorite PS3 games... and I still haven't finished it either.... just got too bored with it.

Considering that Nintendo hasn't dropped the Wii's price at all and they are selling tons of Wii games every month, a 1 billion profit sounds pretty realistic.
At this point, I don't think that Nintendo will ever drop the Wii's price for another 1-2 years at least.
On Amazon.com, the 80GB Ps3 MGS4 bundle is still at Number 3, and the 20GB Xbox 360 for $299.99 is at number 24, ha ha ha!
The 80GB PS3 is $200 bucks more expensive than the 20GB 360 and it's still outselling it.

Kaz Hirai has a point because right now the PS3 does not need to appeal to the Casual because of it's higher price point and it's something that I had never thought about. Once the PS3's price is cheaper, then it will be the time for Sony to hit home on casual gaming.
Right now the PS2 is basically just entertaining the casual audience because of it's low price point and the majority of people still buy...
As a PS3 owner, I have yet to buy a game developed by EA Games since having my PS3 a month after launch. Dead Space will most likely be my first EA PS3 game... I would have picked up EA's Burnout Paradise when it first came out, but I just HATE the free roaming in the game... they should have kept it just like Burnout 3 Takedown.
Anyways, Sony has reported an increase of PS3 software sales over the past few months as well, but I wouldn't have guessed that EA was making so much ...

Kingdom Hearts 3 and Max Payne 3 haven't even been announced yet and SquareEnix and Remedy have their hands full. Once SquareEnix finishes up FFXIII, then they'll probably announced Kingdom Hearts 3.... and whenever the hell Remedy finishes up Alan Wake, then they'll most likely go to Max Payne next (I hope so).

What is being bought on Amazon.com really doesn't reflect what might be actually going on in retail when it comes to PS3 game sales vs 360 game sales, but really I think that a game like Soul Calibur 4 would sell more on the PS3.
I just checked Amazon.com and now the 360 version is ranked 5 and the PS3 version is ranked 7... the Metal Gear Solid 4 80GB PS3 bundle is ranked at 3, the 40GB PS3 for $399 is ranked 12, and the 20GB Xbox 360 for $299 is ranked at 17.... wow, the PS3 ...
What the heck?! The Original Xbox has been dead for years and now Madden 09 is coming to the Xbox? I haven't even seen a store that still sells brand new Original Xbox games.... I guess it just goes to show that EA really are money whores if they are willing to release a game on a dead system.
This guy should really be suing EA only because they made the game, and he shouldn't be suing Sony because Sony wasn't involved with the development.
But anyhow, EA has tons of cash they pay Jim Brown off with without even thinking twice. But, I'm sure he could end up with a lot of dough because the Madden franchise is freaking huge and it's brought in a lot of money for EA over the years.... and EA can thank Sony and Playstation 1 and Playstation 2 for all of that revenue.
