I loved the blatant dives you could pull off in This Is Football...and the classic two-footed challenge on the keeper. So much fun! That game wore out my R2 button.
Am I worth less than you because I dont have kids and don't have a full time job? Still seems I have more appreciation of money than you. Im sure you weren't born on this earth with wife and kids and a full time wage packet. You obviously worked hard for it so have the right to spend it on anything you want.
My comment seemed reasonable considering you wont fully know what the product is like until you've had it for a couple of months. Surely you can see the ben...
so you're gonna buy every indie game on every console you have to support the devs....lol
Do you apply that logic with other products you buy? Do you download music of an amazing underground band then buy the cd then buy the lp then buy the special edition then buy...?
Why have you ordered not one, but two broken devices? Seems like you have more money than sense. I don't understand why you'd do that? If you're buying it for someone else let them buy it. Why not get one then see if it was worth the money then if you want, buy another. Sheesh. One for the xbox in the living room and one for the xbox in the bathroom? Seriously, i just don't understand?
I hate idiotic consumerism...it just breeds products of lower quality.
Why would you buy it again on PSN, I hope that was an exaggeration to emphasise that you really like the game. I am actually awestruck at that comment...just why?
how is 40million+ consoles sold 'fucking up badly'. They did great to get a look in on the playstation 2 market. Sony lost their massive lead from last-gen but I bet you don't think Sony messed up?
What is with all the ps3 fanboys on here?
I don't think that's the only reason they got their shot in at you. Could be a little lag or you could be mistaken.
I'll say again, usually when a trade-kill happens, you shoot the enemy, you hear the enemies shot, the enemy dies, then you die (or vice versa). A fair-trade kill. I might be mistaken, but I'm pretty sure that's how it plays out.
I'm gonna keep my eyes and ears out next time I play to find out. It's easier to tell whe...
its pretty realistic...if a battle situation like that did ever occur and people were mindlessly running into small rooms there would be loads of bullets flying about and lots of kill-trading to match...
In game, people will be shooting at the same time so just because you kill someone doesn't mean their bullets will stop dead in mid-air and drop to the floor. Unlike games like COD, bullets actually have to travel through physical space. Notice on COD as soon as you pull ...
iv got a k/d ratio of almost 2 to 1 and usually end up near the top of the table on Killzone2 so do those mad skillzorz give me the right to my opinion? You shouldn't have to practice for the controls of a game and although the controls are unique, which I quite like, they can also be extremely frustrating...try shooting someone from 4 yards away - can be the most painstaking ordeal of your gaming career!
Hopefully they do improve the controls for the third game.
I knew that was complete flamebait to get a rise from the ps3 nutjobs...funny man.
but surely there was at least a few games which you thought would be quite cool? resi5?, or killzone3?...I just hope MGS:Rising comes with Move support and I'm pretty much sold. Not trying to push Move down your throat but even I can see a little value in the overpriced kinect...for movies and a little family fun.
I was just giving a fair comparison if you want either to perform equally with one another...then you would need two for things like two player tennis (probably all of the Move games will be two or more player)
But then again its not entirely equal seeing as a subcontroller will let you actually play core games which kinect couldn't. I dunno it's as fair a comparison as I could make it without a backlash from either side.
Personally, IF I get Move it will be ...
with a live subscription for a few years...but you're right with one thing, the casual market wont see it like that.
I like how you place 3d glasses in as if its gonna hinder the sales of move. Funny.
You will probably be right that kinect will sell more because people are gullible buggers. But if you want a fair comparison:
If you want 360 to do the same as PS you need to buy:
Xbox 360
Kinect
Live
...
I for one hardly ever use the web browser on the ps3 and would never bother linking my ps3 trophies to my facebook account. That would be far too geeky, even for me :P Gaming has to almost be a dirty little secret for me so I wouldn't want to broadcast my nerdyness.
.
This vid is not touching for me, when I see a title saying 'hauntingly beautiful' I expect a lot more than johnny cash pulling on your heartstrings.
Obviously if I knew the characters I would have a completely different view but to me its just another fan made trailer. Anyway, you should'nt let people with a different opinion soften your excitement for a game :)
do you want johnny cash's 'hurt' playing every time you kill an enemy? there's gonna be no emotion in the gameplay...cutscenes yes if you know and care for the characters, but in a game where you shoot everything and anything that moves its hard to bring emotion into a battle.
at the way he walks up the stairs at 50 sec.
its shite.
I recently tried playing this game but only played for less than half an hour until I ended up in a big hall with two enemies that were taking incredibly long to defeat. Was pretty boring I have to say, its tough to go back and play a game like ICO when I could be playing one of the great games this gen.
I liked the style of the game but ultimately it was no fun. Might try giving Shadow a chance but the gameplay would have to be spiced up a lot for me to enjoy it.
