What was everyone expecting from the Move? Especially people in the gaming media...it is obvious the casual games are gonna play and feel like the Wii, both controllers are very similar. Even the hardcore games will be similar to stuff we've seen on the Wii, only a bit more accurate. There's only so much developers can do with motion controls. Most of the games coming out on the Move will have already been thought of on the Wii. Wii developers aren't idiots.

i agree, Wii is still the way to go if you want casual fun for your family...cheapest, most motion games, free online etc, all good points that make it perfect for getting some motion controlled fun in.
In my view, the only people who should be thinking about picking up move n kinect are people who already have ps3s n 360s and the 3 people left who are yet to buy a Wii.
GT5 probs won't change it up that much but then again the developers ain't pumping out a yearly gran tursimo title and charging full price for it.
COD is stupidly overrated...

but Resi 4 on the Wii was great fun and that was designed for a controller first. I bet heavy rain would be better (from the demo I played) too, using a punching movement to punch instead of a button...
These types of games have never really interested me. They have been on the Wii for ages and they did not excite me then, and don't now. I am much more looking forward to playing some full length games with a new control scheme.
cos the Dualshock is so uncomfortable to hold with one hand, even sitting down. No one but the most stubborn fanboys will stick to using the Dualshock. Any disagress here, go pick up you're dualshock right now, then come back to me.
without button input.
Ray Liotta :) great voice.

"There's a lot of potential there",
"There's a huge, huge future"
"next E3] I think you'll find more clever and sophisticated applications then."
"We're going to deliver the experiences that we can this year and then let the developers and the really clever people figure out how it's going to be taken forward in the future." - (that quote is just funny. Might as well have said...
"Duh, im too ...
That's what microsoft did with the first 360, everyone thought it was cheaper because you didn't have to buy everything at the same time (wifi adapter, live etc). But actually if people did their homework they would realise that eventually both consoles would work out the same price. Im pretty sure the £240 I spent on my ps3 in 2007/2008 is less than what a lot of people paid for a 360 at the same time because it was 'cheaper'.
I would assume you could if the game supports the standard control schemes. Would be stupid if it wouldn't let you use both.
The pricing is what you'd expect for a new device such as this. It costs £30 for a dualshock which hasn't changed in 10 years.
It's really hard to notice when you're playing either.
I don't think the xbox controller is far more comfortable, and if it was the case that the raised position of the left analogue stick was far superior, surely the right analogue stick would be symmetrical to it and shoved up there seeing as you're right thumb is almost always touching the right analogue stick with almost every game? 360 controller looks pretty good tho, much better than the awful astheti...
but I agree completely, Pressing R2 for grenades feels great for some reason...wouldn't like to be using R1/RB for grenades. And surely using the 'trigger' would mean you couldn't shoot a pistol or semi-automatic weapon as fast as with R1?
I agree with the entertainment industry and how nowadays they are simply making films from books, making sequels of old films which should have long been laid to rest or rehashing 70s and 80s tv shows. Seems like there's not much imagination in films nowadays.
That's why inception was so good...an original idea perfectly executed...very entertaining.
Disagree with your Uncharted 2 comment, loved that game. And it's possible to make any game so...
and a big problem with the game for me was that it centred around babysitting someone throughout the entire game (I assume the whole game)...
Looking after E.E. on MGS2 was probs the worst part of that game and I dreaded having to hold her hand everytime I reached that part of the game but at least it only lasted for about 15 mins. Could never enjoy a full game with that premise.
anti-Movers use the old 'but Move is just a better Wii-mote' line all the time as an insult when that is actually the best thing about Move. It has taken an extremely popular and fun control scheme and improved on it, can only amount to a productive outcome.
