There will always be a moron who claims the PS1 version looks better AND is better.
@lodossrage
Nah, nah, nah, you're singling out every point that I made, you need to combine them together to get why Disc Jam is being compared to RL. It's a combination of all those factors, not them individually like you just made them. Don't go off topic, you're not justifying anything...
I've asked you examples seeing that you made the claim that more games fit that description. So I'm asking you, give me examples that fit thos...
@lodossrage
Please name more games that fit this description.
Uhm, Forza Horizon 3 is so poorly optimized that high end machines like mine can't run it properly. Do you know how that's called? Incompetence from the developers. Their programmers should be ashamed for that.
I've got a ton of games that use Denuvo and never had a single problem running them from Denuvo's part.
My only complains stay with lazy developers.
What? That's not what piracy is.
Piracy: "The unauthorized use or reproduction of another's work." -> The reason behind the act has nothing to do with the fact that the crime was committed nonetheless.
And that poor excuse that every one makes about being more of a demo, is a way to justify the crime.
Truth is more than 80% of the people who download illegally have no intention of purchasing the game, they just want them free period.
...
Let's break it down:
Unreal Engine? Check!
Exactly the same main menu layout with the notifications panel? Check!
Game consists of quick competitive matches with fun gameplay loop? Check!
Cosmetic unlocks and customization? Check!
Same mid-game quick chat messages that you choose with the directional arrows? Check!
Quick to learn and tricky to master mechanics? Check!
Split-screen within a online match? Check!
Good! If you want the game, buy it and support the developers.
F**k piracy.
Condescending....
If I'm claiming that is becoming more shady, it's clearly not just this case alone...
Try to interpret what you read first.
Andromeda's release is getting more and more shady by the minute.
Yes. I think I speak for all of us, we're tired of generic checklist open worlds, not open worlds in general.
This.
Ahaha, Jesus Christ! When others delay their games, it's terrible, it's shameful, even thought it helps the game being optimized and finished at release.
When Nintendo does it with Zelda, to match a new console release, apparently it's Art!
lmao at fanboys...
But once again, that's not a choose your adventure style RPG. You're required to do the exact same levels every single time you play the game. Those decisions don't shape up the experience, but rather who's on your side.
And with ME3, all of your choices during the entire franchise were in vain...
Telltale decisions do shape up the story, because you can't go through specific sections depending on your decisions. Until Dawn is another ...
@Kreisen
Of course there's more, that's not the question, the question is that you're heavily required to play those sections, you can't complete the game without them...
But you're forced through clunky awkward combat sections in order to progress...
"This is essentially a choose your own adventure style RPG." -> No it's not, you're required to go through LINEAR levels, and you're confided to small Hubs. Nothing on ME is about choosing your own adventure. All those decisions were make within the confines of the quest in which it happens. No matter how much you try, you could never change the experience, you alwa...
So you're saying he shouldn't play the game for the gameplay? Because you're literally forced to play through the combat sections...
Because ME is not a Telltale or a Quantic Dream game...
