Lmao, didn't WOW had like 12 millions active players at one time?
And the best selling Sims was 2.
@ninsigma
Having the tall grass react to the player moving through them, requires a complex mathematical algorithm, plus it severely takes a hit on performance and is prone to bugs.
Small details like the puddle disappearing (which is something that weighs nothing on performance(object behavior)), or those ants you see upon trees (that only appear, once you're really close to the tree, and utilize so little polygons that it doesn't make any differ...
@ninsigma
Wow, you're triggered. Calm your tits.
Don't plays us for fools, you tried to mask uninformed criticism in the form of a poorly executed question.
If you'd make a google search, you'd know you'd come across sites that explain how game engines work.
@ninsigma
I'm not being an ass, but I'm rather tired of this type of comment, that tries to undermine smart choices made by the developer, comments made by people who claim they 'want to learn', but never do a 2 minute google search about the issue. Plus, you're trying to learn here? A site filled with people that you're not sure about their knowledge? Filled with fanboys and biased opinions?
Edit: If you want proper education on ...
@ninsigma
That's where you're terrible wrong mate. I do know how much it takes up because I have a major in engineering informatics and I've worked with a bunch of different graphical engines.
Do you want a tip of how to discuss this type of technical issues in a video-game? Educate yourself first.
This type of 'method/technique' does not take any unnecessary space within the game, on the contrary, because if the pud...
If you had any idea about what your talking about, you'd know that this weighs nothing on performance...
Uncharted 4 is by faaaaar the best one in the series, I mean, by faaaaaar....
And with a huge lack of complexity and variety, unbalanced, shortage of content and relying too much on season passes (more money from the consumer), weak plots, generic characters, heavy reliance on 'Ubisoft mechanics' from their other titles (which makes every game somewhat 'familiar' not in the good sense), the infamous 'downgrades', very ambitious promises that are never delivered, relying too much on the same gameplay loop without proper variation...
...
WTF is this? Please take this down, this isn't news....
I made that comment some days ago, about how shady it was getting. I was mocked and downvoted.
Guess I was right...
Called it. I was downvoted and called a moron. I saw this 20 miles away...
No console is usually.
I waited 4/5 months to buy the PS4 and, by the time I got it, the initial issues like the analog stick and other issues were solved.
Talented?! Now being able to talk about video-games is a talent?!
Most people are able to do something so mundane as that. Being a game developer, mainly being a good one, now that's talent.
She said that off-camera, could be about any game honestly, plus, she also mentioned being a 15% discount, and, last time I checked, the game hasn't released yet...
She also said "it's coming to PC first of all" and also, last time I checked, Crash Bandicoot will be coming to PS4 first...
I think you're going to cry lmao
Lmao, you're so pathetic.
I guess your username is equal to your actions on a daily basis...
