I don't know what IGN's obsession with lists is. They do one like every other month and apart from the same couple overrated Rockstar games they always fap to or the token Mass Effect circle jerk (anyone remember Greg Miller's "you're a fanboy if you don't think it's the best" article lol?), they're always flip-flopping anyways.

Facts? The only exclusives that sell those numbers on the 360 are Halo & Gears. Everything else undersells next to their PS3 counterparts. See my previous post. Example: Resistance FOM outsold L4D.
If shooters aren't compelling on the PS3 then why do I see several multi-million selling shooters on the PS3 side yet nothing on the 360 besides...you guessed it...Halo & Gears? I think it says something when a console peaked with its launch titles 5-6...
They all bombed save for Splinter Cell which is multiplat (PC). So much for the"teh hardcores live on 360" spin.
Fact is exclusives overall sell better on the PS3. Spinsters only fixate on Halo and Gears. They don't exactly support the 'NinetyNineNights' of the world.
A retraction should be in order as last year alone Heavy Rain outsold Alan Wake, GT5 outsold Halo Reach, GOW3 outsold Fable 3, even MAG and Yakuza 3 hit a mil', outsell...

Backwards logic? I'd be surprised if you've ever owned a PS3 or a credit card. You clearly lost nothing out of the whole situation otherwise you'd understand who's backwards and inside out on the matter. Halo 3 ODST and Halo Wars have meta' averages below MANY other FPS and brand name games including Far Cry, Killzone, L4D, HalfLife, Resistance, Crysis, COD and Battlefield. Halo Reach has the same avg as the older KZ2. The war is over.

inFamous 1 didn't have swamps for one, nor shanty towns. Nor mutants. I was very impressed watching several different playthroughs. So many different ways things can unfold, there are even 12 optional sub-objectives you can do at the same time for extra XP like erasing the bank's security tapes etc. Never thought a co-op PSN title would stand out this much @ a show like E3, but here we are. I want it.
They obviously hate their jobs, which makes me wonder why they even bother reviewing anything on the PS3 at all. Time to move on, start a magazine more suited to their tastes like reviewing caskets or taste testing cough medicine. When GTA4 got a 98 meta' avg with its poor cover, melee and auto aim. When Demon's Souls prided itself on spontaneously destroying you. When various CODs on veteran were nothing but grenade spam. When you could walk through all of Crysis 2 invisible on veteran and barely fire a shot. All scored higher.
Gotta admit his criticism of the HUD's low health color is kinda petty in a post Splinter Cell/Batman Arkham Asylum world. I spent most of Batman AA looking at thermal visioned skeletons lol, yet look at the scores it got. Even in SC Conviction the color leaves the screen like every minute. inFamous has color restoring health everywhere, from the cars to just bio-leeching a civilian.

Holy god. Some people need to join the rest of civilization and buy something brand new once in a while. Cash in your bestbuy rewards certificates (most new releases give you 800 points which is an automatic $5 in your account), use Amazon etc. I'm sure you don't buy all your food, clothing, furniture, appliances, toys, stereos, TVs, consoles, car parts etc second hand all the time.
