Right on gravemaker, it's good isn't it! The demo for 'Of The End' has lots of gameplay too. Always been a good series for that. Too bad that much like KZ3, reviewers seem to wanna watch a movie these days instead of play. 3/4 of that review is about story.

If that's what you see, you need glasses. Two of the three highest rated *new* games of 2011 (hence not counting ME2) have been PS3 exclusives, with the third game being a multiplat' with exclusive PS3 content. Look 'em up.
Even KZ3 has averaged better than other high profile releases like Dragon Age 2, MvC3 and Bulletstorm, so I don't know what you want.

KZ3's story was better than KZ2's so in that sense mission accomplished.

Apparently since KZ3, warzone FPS's are supposed to be all about the story. The presentation, gameplay, online etc are irrelevant if I'm to go by reviews like GamePro. So...unless BF3 is literally the Citizen Kane of Iraqi shooters, I don't see GOTY on the infidel pwning horizon.

I'm inclined to agree. Having recently beat Extraction, I was psyched to revisit its survivors Gabe & Lexine. Unfortunately I don't feel their charachters got their proper dues with Severed. Lots of cliche beats from the "save my wife & child" to the betrayal and gov conspiracy/secret project, yet when it ended I had more questions than answers.
Flop? Uh, both Resistance games are multi-platinum. Despite selling less than R1, R2 sold more than Crackdown 2, Alan Wake and Metro 2033 combined. What happened there?

If I want funny, I'll play Sam & Max or Sly Cooper. Never expected funny from Killzone or Bulletstorm, and neither game made me laugh. Which is fine. Unless Dickstorm was trying to, in which case it dickfailed.
