Honestly, though thematically it looks just like Uncharted, same font, same gun icons and everything, the screenshots make me think of nothing other than the Syphon Filter games they made for the PSP. Looks like the same engine and game mechanics, oddly.
But... it is real? So stop lying to yourself dude.
MGS1 would have been nice, but considering it's already on the PSN store it's really not necessary. I'm mainly bummed about them not putting in Portable Ops too. I really enjoyed the story (sans one spoiler I won't mention).
This is all I'll ever need. Now I can die a happy man.
...what the ****? Captivating, and it looks like Team Fortress meats Inglorious Bastards, and it'll probably be fun, but this really isn't at all what I'd expect from a WWII shooter.
There was no free cam in MGS2 Substance, just to make that clear. The only bonuses that were put into Substance were the VR missions and the Snake Boarding mini-game. Subsistence was the first Metal Gear game to offer a free-camera. Which is why I really hope they use it in the HD remake. I'd love to see their reworked MG and MG2 games in there too, but it's sadly not likely.
...or maybe something BIG Boss? *SPOILERS* This takes place before MGS4, but he's still locked up wherever it is that Zero was keeping him, and I'm not sure if that was in a conscious state or not. 'eh, probably not, but the man does love Jack.
Arkham Asylum comes to mind. I hated that demo, but the game ended up being so unbelievably good it blew my mind.
Since Kevin Butler. *Ku-Don-Pish!* <-- Those were drums, if you couldn't tell.
You know what this means!?! My dreams of the Metal Gear Solid HD collection could come true! It's the only thing I really want out of E3 and Kojima this year. Metal Gear Solid 3, Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops, Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker, Metal Gear, Metal Gear 2, Metal Gear Solid, Metal Gear Solid: Digital Graphic Novel, Metal Gear Solid 2 and Metal Gear Solid 4 all in one big package... They could sell it for $300 and I'd still buy it. And hell, they could throw in the Ac!d ...
Ah yes, because we live in a police state where we all should gladly give up our freedoms for a little bit of imaginary safety. No more sharpened pencils people, everyone is to write on photo sensitive paper with their laser pens and protective eye wear. And all large rocks should be placed in the City Rock Dispensary bin so as to not pose a threat to anyone.
Sarcasm aside, anyone intending to cause violence to someone will do so regardless of what is easily available. E...
I considered noting my sarcasm but figured it didn't need to be pointed out due to it being blatantly obvious. I just think it's funny how people fight over x-chat. The people that try to say it's awesome do so just to put down PSN, and the people that fight to get it purely do so so they can say "SEE! We got it too now, haha!" while in the meantime it's still a fairly useless feature that next to no one uses. And then this guys can't think of anything to say ...
Ugh, tell me about it. I've been banging my head against a wall in agony about how PSN doesn't have those "other social networking features". Sometimes I want to just scream "Take my $60 dollars already and give me some of those 'other social networking features' already!"
Lady... Lady... Hey Lady! ...lets go to space!
Whoa, I actually didn't know Studio Liverpool was owned by SCEE. Nor did I know that 2 more Wipeout titles were slated for release. Thanks for probing me to Google it, awesome news.
For a second there I was thinking that Kinect (let alone XBOX) was going to get a real game that I could potentially take interest in. But it's not Wipeout, the awesome futuristic racer, it's Wipeout, the lame ABC reality TV show. Typical.
I'm all about a good single player story. There's a reason the MGS series along with Fumito Ueda's work is my very favorite. Online games are fun I suppose, but really I think they're a waste of time and are terribly repetitive. And you get what, experience points? And level up? Wooooo, now you're tickling my fancy. Now that'll entertain me.
You're forgiven. I never held it against you. Even with my 2nd YLOD I got on Friday. Tomorrow I shall get a Slim and we can be together once again, sharing all the good times. Sorry for all the hate from everyone else, our relationship will never get sour like that. We'll take on the hacker community together.
Sheesh, I miss the days before consoles were online. Seriously, this can't get much more annoying. You know what I'm gonna do? Play through Portal 2 again, work on some UC2 trophies and probably play some Wipeout HD. And do so in peace because I don't have a flood of invites to play COD popping up in the corner. And when I get tired of a session of that, I'm going to, oh I dunno, READ A BOOK OR SOMETHING.
It depends on how they do catwoman. In the comics she wasn't really intended to be a sex symbol, that's more the cinema take on things. She's supposed to be more like a deeply troubled "cat burglar" than something sexy. We'll have to see how they implement her, I had no expectations for Arkham Asylum and it was amazing. I can't come up with excuses to doubt them now.
