Definitely agree. My personal GOTY is going to be the Metal Gear Solid HD collection, but I seriously can't believe just how many great games are coming out now. I hardly have any time to play any one game for long, let alone go trophy hunting in them.
This guy has worked on the PC pretty much since it's birth. Of course he's going to prefer the one that you can write for that's most like the PC. Everyone talks about how smart the guy is, and I'm sure he is, but he likely has no idea what he's looking at when he gets into the PS3s architecture.
It's exactly how I feel about the MGS collection coming out soon. I am the biggest Metal Gear fan ever born, and I absolutely have to get the plats to back it up. Same with SotC and ICO. They're both the pinnacle of gaming in my opinion.
There's a lot more involved in visual fidelity than what graphics card you have.
Period.
Haha, I know. I completely agree with you. I was just messing.
Casual Xbox game is casual.
You mean your comment? Yeah, I know! I see one just like it at the top of EVERY COD thread! It's so puzzling.
@miDnIghtEr Oh, you mean like on the PC where when you insert your discs you have to install all the game contents before you get to play it right? Those damn MANDATORY installs... Because when a game comes out and I get it home, there's no way in hell I'm going to wait like 10 minutes to play it. I mean, I spend all my free time playing video games. Clearly I'm underdeveloped and don't have the patience to wait for an install. And don't even get me started on cuts...
Huh, I was about to say how surprisingly bad it looks. I guess different strokes!
I'm surprised Wipeout isn't getting more attention, it's my favorite racing series. I'm getting it, Uncharted and Super Stardust myself at launch. This is shaping up to be the best console launch I've ever experienced.
Then buy a 3DS. You'll likely be sadly let down and eventually willing to pay twice as much for 3 times the machine in the end anyways, but if price is such an issue for you buy the cheap lame one. $250 was a shocking price tag for me, I thought it would be at least $300.
I wouldn't say it's more accurate by any means. It is a very reliable weapon, and cheap to manufacture. 7.62x39 however is a large and slow round. It has great takedown power, but limited range and penetration. 5.56 is small and fast. Very accurate over a large distance, but once you get over 500 yards it drops quickly. But it lacks the stopping power. That's why I prefer the good 'ol .308. Give me an M-14 any day =D
Time to start tearing apart your epic tower to drop another $500 - $600 bucks into it!
@Da Truth Actually all of the digital downloads have all that information built into them. If you push the Home button you can swap from disc 1 to disc 2, and read the game manual from front to back along with several other options. They do a really great job with their PS1 classics.
uhh... So this is a Zombie Bioshock knockoff? That elevator conversation is either intentional like an easter egg or just blatant thievery. And it made me lose a good deal of interest in it.
@maxmill Any reasoning comes from some form of logic. Of course, I suppose we could go from your standpoint and say you used no logic and your whole sentence is just moot. Which is probably a good argument. But from where I'm from, people like what people like for a reason. And if you don't like it, why does it irk you so much that other people do? And why do you go out of your way to hate something you could easily ignore, and do what you like to do? I guess maybe this is your...
Yeah, I caught that too. The 1887 said "Hasta La Vista", an obvious easter egg for T2.
And I love how damn awesome this mode looks. I loved Spec Ops on MW2 also. By your logic every game is the same. So just shut up, get out, and go talk about shit you actually like.
I somewhat agree. I enjoyed the first game a lot, the second game a bit less, and really think I'll like the 3rd, but the market is so saturated with FPSs that I've put off on buying it for a while. I plan to get it, there's just so many other offerings that are higher on the priority list. Sales will probably go up after Christmas. That's likely when I'll feel like picking up my copy.
