I don't know why you are getting disagrees or why this is still a debatable issue. Use search function, search "DICE" and confirm EA ownership. Easy as pie. I do it every day. However I do like the custom servers. Some are run by pathetic little clans that ruin the balancing to make them feel powerful and kick everyone better than them (I'm looking at you, Dirty Dogs on PS3), others are real human beings that are great to play against.
Couldn't have put it better. Playing a lame phone game when you are sitting in the doctors office is one thing. Playing a lame phone game at home on my HDTV? No thanks. I'll pass. Along with everyone else that exists. This isn't going to get off the ground at all.
@ShaunCameron, I think it's fair to say that Playstation has the best variety out of all the consoles, hands down. There might not be as many as in previous generations, but that would be a hard argument to make. There are too many great games this generation, several (like Okami) once again getting lost in the cracks. Mirrors Edge for instance was fantastic, but didn't get the reception it deserved. If I was making your argument, I'd argue the points that most developers are ...
It's quite true. That's why the Nightmare mini-game was cut from MGS3s HD remake. Something about rights to it couldn't be given to MS, so everyone had to lose it for it to come out on their platform too. Effing money grubbing asshats is what Microsofts gaming division is. I bought and fixed a 360 because I figured there were a few exclusives I'd like, but the more I learn about them, the more I want to just smash it to bits with a hammer. It's not like I use it anywa...
This is just wrong in every way.
To be fair, I don't think anyone won when it came to Mass Effect 3s ending.
I read that its because latency makes it impossible for them. Doesn't make sense being that archery and bowling could still support it, but whatever. That was the primary reason their first game didn't get played as much as it could have been for me.
I'm not expecting much from it, because I'm 90% sure the indoctrination theory holds true to the story. Everything about the ending felt too weird and intentional not to be. And the truth behind it is going to stay hidden until a future campaign DLC is announced, or possibly a whole new game. *SPOILER*I personally would still prefer Shepard to die killing the reapers, but its looking like he lives.
Honestly, as a Christian myself, there are a lot of things about mainstream Christianity that seem outright ridiculous. It's much the same way Christ felt when he walked the Earth and had to deal with what mainstream Judiasm turned into. Saying crap is okay but saying shit isn't? Any kind of secular entertainment is considered bad? Most everything that people associate with Christianity isn't anywhere in the bible.
Are you serious? They are STILL writing these articles? He IS working on something else. Multiple "something else" games coming out from him. If he also happens to be working on an MGS game, so be it. Who should care besides the Metal Gear fans? Quit your damn bitching already!
Very good read. Probably my most anticipated title of all time, I can't wait. Right up there with MGS4, me being the biggest Metal Gear fan alive.
You're right, they aren't at all the same type of game. Doesn't change my point in the least, The Last Of Us is exactly what I want in this kind of game. I'm pretty sure everyone here can agree that ARMA is better off staying on the PC where it belongs.
We're getting The Last Of Us. I couldn't care less about pretty much anything else zombie related. I just have to stay occupied until 2013...
That guy is fuckin' weird. I wouldn't want to be interviewed by him, he makes me uncomfortable just listening to him. I don't think I saw him blink once through the whole video. I bet he's killed a man.
Did you watch Jimmy play Uncharted 3? That's why. Because they wanted the viewers to get an accurate feel for the game, not some buffoon getting shot repeatedly as the camera flails around frantically.
I couldn't even finish the article, after starting it and feeling like whomever wrote it couldn't spend 5 minutes researching their subject, instead of spreading the same cliche bullshit we already have heard a dozen times over. Glad to hear it gets better at least.
*soon to be the hottest article on N4G ever*
@dubt72, all this tech arguing is pointless and I could care less since all companies work develop and sell good and similar tech, but saying Playstation fans think this gen is already over is utterly ludicrous. Did you see any E3 coverage? Playstation is still developing great titles, this gen isn't stopping any time soon for us. Nintendo and Microsoft are the ones with the reputation of abandoning hardware quickly.
Uncharted 3 did a really good job with it. Along with Wipeout HD and Super Stardust. A lot of titles have too slow of a framerate, and it can lead to headaches. Next gen I feel it will truly start to shine.
Use search function. Search "DICE", as stated several times in the past.
