It's supposed to release in 2014 (I don't think they haven't specified any further). And you should totally play The Witcher 2! It's freaking great. Story, characters, gameplay, the environments..all great. It's on 360 if you don't have a good PC. The combat takes a little getting used to, but it delivers a good challenge. You can't use potions or anything like that while in combat, so strategizing is key. I'm gonna stop and just say, PLAY THAT GAME!

If anything it would expand your options since you have the choice of getting the camera. Don't get me wrong, I think the Kinect is interesting, but removing it would not reduce options.

It's all about the games first and foremost for me, so that's why I'm going with PlayStation first. I (KEYWORD: I) like what they have to offer. But I'll be getting an Xbox too as to not miss out on Forza, Halo, Gears (hopefully), and..maybe Dead Rising.

That's nice. That'd be sure to ease up my anxiety about losing a save file. I have an almost 300 hour (the longest I've ever played a game) save file for Skyrim that I constantly worry about. As if my system's gonna get eaten by wolves or my save will go to digital hell never to return. Backups are great.

I'm not going to respond to your comment about MS, I'm just saying that I could've sworn they said 7 GB for games at their reveal in February. That's why all these shenanigans are confusing me. Why would they do this when they explicitly (if my memory is right) said 7? Something's fishy to me.
I like the sand better in Uncharted. It was like smooth creamy luscious wavy sparkly beautiful sandy sand. Yes it's worth that many adjectives to me. It was pretty. This sand is just bland. Bleh. For some reason the foliage (or cacti? Or whatever) reminds me of Metal Gear Solid V.
