@black
The developers strongly hinted that it would come to PS4 after a while (probably a year). Kind of like how the Warframe devs are stongly hinting that their game might come to XB1.
SHUT UP FRANKIE!
There are too many! My wallet is on life support right now. It's a vegetable. Anyway, I'm looking forward to GTA V, Watch Dogs, Battlefield 4, Killzone: Shadowfall.. I might consider picking up Kingdom Hearts 1.5 Remix (there's supposed to be an HD in there somewhere, isn't there?) for the art book and because I've never played any games in the series. I still have to get the games I missed like Tomb Raider and Injustice.
YES. We, the core gamers, are the ones who line up to buy a console on day one. We don't do it for sh*ts and giggles! We do it to play some games! Extra social or TV TV SPORTS features and all are great, but gamers game first and foremost (well most do). Not many people (if any) are going to buy a console day one just for Netflix or to watch TV (when, you can, I don't know, watch TV like before).
The good thing is, they seem to be starting off right. They announced a...
Are you insinuating that MS allowed indies to self-publish first? Because they didn't. And what are you saying on that third (weak) point? And are you kidding me? They changed their DRM policies because just about everyone (by that I mean core gamers who wanted to preorder a console) was against the XB1 and PS4 was crushing in preorders. Only after they changed them did they see their console start to sell out. They knew they were in a bad position and had to get out fast. Seems like MS i...
They knew what they wanted at the time of the initial reveal. To me it seemed like more control and to fight used games. To others it was the "future". (I personally don't think we've developed the Internet enough to get to the all-digital future that MS was hoping for - but 1 GB+ Internet speeds are a great start. If they really wanted to go all-digital, they would need to make the hard drive a lot bigger. Games aren't getting smaller.) After they changed up, it seems l...
I don't pay attention to stocks and what not that much, so I'm not responding to that. What I will respond to is:
1.) Xbox headset > PS4 headset
How do you know that it is? Conversely, how do I know that it isn't? Did Sony release anything about it besides saying it's a chat headset? I don't believe so, and I don't think we can make that assumption that it is just yet.
2.) Sony lacking vision
Are...
I think so. I've never earned one yet (woe is me), but it certainly keeps me playing a game longer. Especially when I'm above 70% of trophies for a game, and I can envision hearing that beautiful sound, and seeing the sheen of that platinum trophy, haha.
Let me dream! *whispers* Let me dream...
I just think he forgot the "not". It was a logic error haha.
@sobotz
I'm pretty sure the Halo trailer was CG. Just saying.
I'm all for an October release date reveal. Oh man I would explode from excitement. And of course, showing off some of their new IPs. Best part is, I don't have school until 2-3 after Gamescom, so all my attention can be on that.
That's not cool. I feel bad for our Australian brethren. Don't they have an 18 rating now? What's the point of having if it you aren't going to use it? Your (Australians, specifically) government is making decisions for competent 18 year-olds. What kind of fuckery is that? Kind of reminds me of some of the nanny states that try to ban or tax video games here in the US.
What's up with you guys and drug use? As if it doesn't happen. Everywhere.
You're talking about his grammar but look at yours. Lol man, come on now. If you're going to talk about someone's grammar, you better do some kickass editing.
Heck yeah it is! I'm about to go pick that up soon now. I was at GameStop today to get a PSN card (for Persona and Chrono Trigger) and I saw the case today. I was like, "Damn, I want that. If only it wasn't $40. This is sweet.
@justastranger
What? I don't even..
You must be trolling. Please tell me you are. You gave me a headache.
First of all, that 4.5 GB of RAM rumor is just that, A RUMOR. And newer RUMORS, with more credible sources, not "insiders", but actual named people, put the RAM usuable for games at 6 GB.
Second, the hack was a bad ordeal for all involved, but they upgraded their network and security since then. Well, hopefu...
No, but they certainly turned themselves around. Not enough to completely forget the initial reveal, but they're getting there. First I was completely against getting an Xbox because of the draconian policies (which actually would've affected me because my Internet is not always consistent - it's rare when inconsistency happens, but it happens), but they turned that around and made me sort of want one. But that's just me. I still wish they would've allowed for AV like the ...
The Order comes out in 2014 (no season specified.) And Infamous comes out in spring 2014.
DAT KILLZONE DOE. Lol I'm gettin Killzone, Watch Dogs, and Battlefield, all for PS4. And I'll download those F2P games too. Maybe I'll finally get into DCUO? Anyway, Planetside 2 is a must. 2,000 players! Oh, oh, oh, and I'll probably get ACIV on Black Friday (won't make the same mistake of getting it for $60 again after ACIII).
Not to mention the PS3 games that are coming out. 0_0
Well, my top 5 (in a slightly deliberate but not exactly deliberate order) would be Infamous: Second Son, Killzone: Shadowfall, Deep Down, The Order: 1886, and whatever Naughty Dog has been cooking up.
For multiplats, it would be Battlefield 4, Watch Dogs, Final Fantasy XV, The Division, and The Witcher 3.
