DAT KILLZONE DOE. Lol I'm ready, I'm hyped, just give me the system and leave me be! Looking forward to that, Knack, DriveClub (PS+), DCUO, Planetside 2 if it's there, and in a few months, Infamous. Octodad looks hilarious as well. I can see myself having some fun with that.
I agree with you Solid. But GS is literally down the street and around the corner from my house, so it's more a matter of convenience than anything. I've never been to a midnight launch, lol is it really that bad? I'm not in the mood to talk to too many people there anyway. If I had a mom n pop near me I'd totally support them.
I'll rip the throat out of anyone who tries to take my PS4 away from me. Lmao I kid, but I will be rushing in GameStop at midnight like I'm doing a QB sneak, getting in there and getting out. No time for chit-chat, there be games to play!
Lmao, we're strictly in the friend zone. She's bad (by that I mean good), but it's not like that lol. We've been friends since like 6th grade.
Lol it's Kinect-less? I FOUND WALDO!
If they release Dragon's Dogma 2 and/or Deep Down and they'll get it back. I reaaally want another Dragon's Dogma. And stop re-re-re-releasing their games. (I should shut up though because I'm probably gonna get USFIV. Never owned a SF.)
Nice article. In my opinion, it doesn't matter what they make, I'll anticipate it. They've shown their ability to create thrilling, intense experiences (Winter in TLOU..TLOU in general) story-wise and gameplay-wise. They learn from each game they make and apply that knowledge to the next one. Regardless of what they make, it's going to be a top-notch experience that'll be hard to match. They've more than established themselves as one of the industry's top developer...
Keep the train rolling! I hope they can meet demand and make another batch of consoles after launch. Got my preorder the day after E3 so I'm all set. Crossing my fingers for an October release (a man can dream). I'm getting an Xbox too, but for now it's PLAYSTATION NATION!
That fan is huge! This little behemoth (is that an oxymoron?) box hopefully won't have any heating issues. That'd be really unfortunate. It's good to see them trying to focus on getting the heat out. But always-on for 10 years? That's not gonna happen for me. It doesn't seem good for the hardware (but what the hell do I know) and like some comments in the article said, imagine that electricity bill.
Didn't Splash Damage make Brink (correct me if I'm wrong please)? It looks interesting (3v3....v2!) but I'll remain cautiously optimistic.
Niiiice. Lack of local co-op doesn't bother me too much, she isn't at my house all the time. But we can play this online at night and catch up in the process. Guess I'll be getting this game.
Sounds kind of cool. Barely mentioned Kinect or second-screen stuff though. Im not entirely sold on that. I think that whole Kinect hearing the noises of your house is kind of cool, but I can see my family trying to screw me over and yell or something -_- lol. Anyway, I might get this game when I get my XB1 sometime next year (I'd get the digital version of the game). Is there co-op? I say this because a friend of mine, she realllly likes zombie games so she'd love this.
And *crickets* were heard. (I kid, I kid.)
Door's that way? I'll let myself out.
Sony/PS4. I like their launch titles more (Forza still looks great), and they support their consoles throughout the entirety of their life, and then some (PS2's last game comes out this year). We still have Beyond, GT6, Dragon's Crown, and a host of other PS3 exclusives to look forward to. If history repeats itself, Sony's going to come out on top in that department.
MS has great games (launch or otherwise) too, but they drop the ball sometimes when it comes to su...
@Hydro
I got a job to pay off my PS4 (I'm a teenager). Feels good to do things on my own, lol. I went to the GameStop to pay off my last $174, I walked up to the cashier and I said "What's up, I'm here to pay off my PS4 preorder," and he said "That's what I'm talking about! Just got paid? You're all set." I said "Yup", got my receipt, and now all I have to do is wait. Well, I gotta pay off the games but you know what I mea...
I agree with this guy. When did that happen before?
Well duh, that's obvious! Lol Sony's studios got this. I don't expect Naughty Dog, Sucker Punch, Guerrilla Games, Sony Santa Monica, Sony Japan Studio, Evolution..lol and the rest of them to just rest on their laurels. They're going to see what they can do with the hardware, refine it, and push it to the limit to make some great new experiences.
Is early 2014 not the launch window? Oops lol. I thought it was because Nintendo's launch window was a few months. Anyway, if that's the case, then I'll swap that out with DriveClub (PS+ edition for now).
I already have Killzone, Watch Dogs, and Battlefield preordered (but not paid off). Secret Ponchos looks interesting, but I haven't seen any gameplay of Octodad so I don't know. Yes, YouTube is a few clicks and keywords away, I just neglected to look for...
For me it's Infamous: Second Son, Killzone: Shadowfall, Battlefield 4, Watch Dogs, and..hmm.. And Knack. It reminds me of the old Crash days.
WHAT? Are you kidding me? /s
The sad thing is, even with all those descriptors, the parents of many 12 year olds will get their kid this game, say "Here you go Timmy!", and let the game do the babysitting and parenting. Then when they see what actually goes on in the game they'll be outraged and go to a senator (or lawyer, etc.) to try and tax or ban violent games because "children shouldn't have access to this". -_- I see it coming.
