Yeah and you’d think this is common sense, advertising your products. Everyone knows that deep down Microsoft is going to lazy port and barely support their cash grabs on other systems, they barely care to quality control software on their own system.
To think a Sony port will run better than on an Xbox, I can’t see it happening. M$ is too petty and proud, as evidenced by this article being surprised they would ever put another logo on their games’ trailer.
Greedy devs want to stay on a dev team and keep getting paid while $upporting a game through DLC and GaaS, basically relying on syphoning your dollars from cosmetics and pay to win tactics to keep making money—this is no doubt what devs prefer over starting new projects from scratch every few years.
Crazy that Skyrim is still the stick that all other RPG’s are still trying to measure up to. Im playing through it again now with all DLC and it’s just amazing. Graphics still hold up, animation is stiff for sure but I prefer First person RPG so it’s all good. Music and sound in Skyrim is seriously underrated.

Halo and Flight Sim, two of Microsoft’s biggest franchises and exclusives failed to launch on their own system with the new console—both games came in hot and not ready.
Microsoft has to prove that their ports won’t just be money grabs and will actually run just as good or better, than on Series consoles. I certainly didn’t buy a Pro to play M$ games, so unless Microsoft can put out polished ports that act...
If Rockstar can make GTA6 run halfway decent it will go a long way to helping Series S and Microsoft’s image as a whole. I don’t know if I’m more excited to play the game or to see how and if Rockstar can manage to pull off 4 great versions of the game (Series S/X and PS5/Pro) and what concessions will be made across those versions.
Sony ultimately made devs make two versions of their game (Pro and Reg) so it’s kinda the same.
Where M$ screwed up is their lesser version is literally holding the industry back.
I never bought the game but can preorder for $10 so…maybe a glitch on my end?
Also—There must be a sequel in the works…they are trying to represent this franchise in the best light on PS5 and Pro and that must be for a reason.
They want Gamepass subs so a cheap console makes sense, making devs have parity in their games across their SKU’s does not make sense
Moving to cloud—resolutions and framerate are subject to internet connection and vary wildly—so unless you have Series X and play local, which is in opposition to their business model right now, then resolution and framerate are going to suffer and should not be a priority to the Gamepass streamer.
Yup, same with making me upgrade to Windows 11, it’s not better just a reason for these a-holes to justify their existence and sell us the same bs with different coat of paint
People can hate on the gameplay or formula, but Rockstar always pushes the medium forward, that’s why it’s day one material regardless
