I’ve been playing this the past couple days and it is way more fun than it has any right to be. It’s the mystery and the challenge that has me hooked, I keep going back for one more run until it’s way too late or I’ve made myself late lol
Welcome to the future; a Microsoft high budget low effort anti consumer profit driven timed exclusive publishing experience.
It’s not. And it is strange to wonder about notions in people’s heads but we all have to waste time thinking about something I suppose
Gamers are so sensitive now the game could have flopped if it had a character they didn’t like or writers contributing to the story that are too far left in their own personal beliefs. That’s crazy, and so is the notion that it’s a good game and selling well but that’s not “enough”
Nintendo: yesterdays tech at tomorrow’s prices
Don’t worry guy, Sony does adult and weird games. It’s M$ and Nintendo that does the watered down stuff for the masses
Deep sale will make me buy this game so I can stream from Pro to Portal and play this good game while watching sports.
Bungie is GOAT dev and this is the way you launch a game, I bet netcode and overall feel is going to be classic Bungie, smooth as butter. Adults in the room know Bungie drops classics, not exactly what I was hoping for, I want TDM in my life that’s not CoD, but definitely giving Marathon a shot. It’s just the company that made Halo and Destiny, no biggie. Idiots always hating!
IGN quick to say the console wars are over and a minute later stir the pot
Portal already allows third party games like Cyberpunk on a handheld so I think people are hyping this up too much. Games will look better on Portal and have better battery life. My only interest in S2 is exclusives.
I’m not. AAA gaming or small indie games, all should have a concept that evolves and improves over the course of the games development. Amazing art and different ideas impact the end product in ways the concept phase of game design cannot foresee. So could AI really develop a game that’s a complete AAA package? Even if it could, I’d rather give my hard earned dollars to actual developers who are creative for the love of the games and not outsourcing their creativity to a machine.
So happy for the devs, simultaneous release across consoles, tight concept and design, not coming in hot with bugs or controversy, great reviews—this just looks like a fun and unique video game, how refreshing! Takemymoney.gif!
100, graphics and lighting glitches exist in the trailer so…I think standards differ between consoles, Indy might be top 3 game on Xbox but on PS it’s Black Friday bargain bin on the hype meter
If it has TDM I’m in. Bungie sniping and net code is always top tier.
Nintendo stays expensive, hardly ever goes on sale, and is definitely not Rockstar. All games go on sale not published by Nintendo so people need to chill on these $100 games articles.
There will be $100 Deluxe version of GTA6 as there is every other game.
People act like $100 isn’t already happening. If you want the full experienced, Gold or Ultimate edition with all the content you are paying $80-$100 unless you wait for sale of course
And every consumer has zero to show for it aside from the time they spent. Day one releases on the service is dope, can’t deny that. At the same time every experience is a fart in the wind unless you ponied up and bought the game or finished it before M$ pulled it off the service. A rental service with stipulations is not my thing but I get why people enjoy it.
At least with PS Plus I have access to my library from years ago still. And if I’m going to be forced to pay for online, PS ...
All games go on deep discount after 3 to 6 months—except Nintendo games, so sure, saying Nintendo games will cost more than Xbox/PS is basically always true
If it makes dollars it makes sense, that’s how these decisions are made.
Clearly Sony or whoever makes this decision isn’t convinced Killzone would sell enough to support the cost of development. They also have a hit with Horizon that isn’t going anywhere anytime soon and prints money.
Bought Killzone on PS4 day one on launch day and was super excited to play it. I’m a fan of Killzone 3 multiplayer and wanted more, the maps were great and that heavy gun gameplay feel was divine—complete contrast to Call of Duty. And that kill chirp, headshots felt so good!
Needless to say Killzone on PS4 was eye candy at the time and not much more.
IP that struggled last release probably not high on the list to run back again but if they didn’t have to ...
Translation: new Xbox hardware announcement incoming…
