A serious story or love interest certainly makes a 100 plus hour game more entertaining. Some of us watch the scenes and aren’t here just to mash buttons.
If the Games are Art then they imitate life and this most always includes romance or at least a love interest. Look at movies, there is a love interest 99.9% of the time. Well, I did enjoy my PS4 Pro much better than vanilla. 60 fps with RT? If not then no.

What a silly question. NES, SNES, Genesis, N64, PS1, PS2, Dreamcast, 3DO, Xbox 360, PS3, PS4, PS5. These are all the consoles I’ve bought for an exclusive. Can Capcom make an original must have game again is a better question.
