I feel like I already played the two biggest games this year, Spider-Man 2 and Starfield are coming in from well known devs and we essentially know how they will play and the exact style they will be done in. Dialogue trees and QTE’s, those of us who celebrate truly NEW experiences will be let down this year—really looking forward to hearing more about Wolverine.

N4G is now PR for M$, I’m all for Xbox becoming more competitive, it’s great for gaming as a whole, but these articles are cringy and reaching—it’s all about the games. Switch, PS5, and Oculus have a place in my home, bc the games are there. All this talk about hardware and Gamepass, let me get this straight, I’ll pay $750 and not own a thing and I’m suppose to jump on that? There just aren’t enough games to make it a must have yet, these articles need to give it a rest and another year or tw...

Games were developed during Covid so apparently this is exactly the years to expect broken games…meanwhile…on Switch and PS5…

M$, smh, Bungie—the one developer that you NEVER should have let go. All these Boomers expecting Halo to return to glory need to let it go. How about some COD to wash down that bitter taste?

Aka longer development time

Starfield is gonna be a slide show. If Microsoft is all about having their games release on PC you would think these games would scale just fine to Series S, obviously thats not the case.

Yup, it’ll be great for gaming as a whole if the Xbox console starts pumping out reasons to play on it. For me, Starfield and Flight Sim ‘24 are enough to pull the trigger, until those are out and proven though it’s a wait and see

Hype is manufactured and Xbox is top of that business. Now when it comes to actual must play games, Xbox is in last place and are so far behind there’s no catching up. Hopefully by the end of this generation Xbox has enough games it’s worth buying one, but as of right now and even post Starfield, one or two games is t changing their market share and this article should replace “winning streak” with “actually competitive”

Wall Street needs to figure out how to optimize profits then they’ll allow it.

Definitely not unfinished. However, work on the 60fps patch will begin after a short break post launch.

M$ show did outshine the Sony one, better production and more firsts although actual gameplay was lacking per usual. It’s all about the tangible games coming soonish and this showcase, while better than Sony’s from a hype standpoint, shows that M$ still has far to go and that is still the reality.

Turn based strategy is fine at 30…that’s it imo but we’ve been spoiled, game design has fallen off the pace of the hardware and it looks like Starfield is here to fix that—problem is devs have already laid down the precedent of 60fps. Bethesda is their own beast though, it’ll be interesting to see what Rockstar does with GTA6.

Because they care the same or more about PC and Gamepa$$ access on hardware other than theirs, the console space is a small piece of the pie to them. Don’t expect M$ to pander to us console peasants or sink dollars and time into modes console peasants want. Buy it on PC is the message and that’s sad for such a huge release. Bethesda is the one to blame here though don’t get that twisted.

3-5 years dev time + Covid means 2024 and 2025 games that actually took their time and were developed with proper sized teams will be bangers. I don’t think anything big, Perfect Dark, Fable, those types of games will be another couple years out.

I feel like they are starting to play Chess and give the people what they want, fans were asking for this trailer since the console’s release, I just worry it’s fan service. I thought it looked great though and knowing a huge rpg is in the works not named Starfield is great as every other genre is more than covered

I try to eat three square meals and get in between the sheets no sleep on the daily but life happens. It’s good to have goals though. They need to be more proactive in letting let downs release, Redfall is too close in our memories to listen to this and get any kind of excited.

Giant snakes hiding in caves, this was the scariest part of the game, think I’ll pass on this one bc I can’t take that jump scare again l. 100 serious

Houston… we have a problem. Seriously though, we’ve been spoiled by 60fps this gen and it’s gonna be tough going back, especially in tight gameplay moments when it is most needed. Performance mode is apparently console pandering now, so as they say, play it on PC.
