Smart move on them to get this game out the door. This is the smoking gun that S is holding devs back

Starting Gun? M$ needs to look around and see the race started a while ago and they are in last place.

Too bad that quidditch dlc was actually a new game, lol

I’m def picking it up at some point just because it’s a 10, like when it’s $25, turn based ain’t my thang

And miss out on all console exclusives? This is where gaming is on the cutting edge , not like it was in the 90’s now. Besides, all great PC games come to console eventually. And…
Plug and play > trying to get it to run
$500 < $2000+
But you do you with that money moms gave you, personally, I’d rather spend the leftover money I saved buying a console (or two) on more important things than high resolution gaming.

There was definitely a meeting at Rockstar where greedy Take Two overlords said, why would we update the game when we can release the port first and make more money? Makes cents, from a greed standpoint, and to expect any other outcome when dealing with corporations is foolish. They will update this game some day, when all other cash out options to make money off of it are exhausted

Like going out to the bar 5 years ago versus today, people need to realize the industry and the developers were really up against it the last few years—we will continue to see the results with lazy cash grabs, unfinished games, delays, and zero innovation. Games like BG3 and Starfield aside, consumers need to take note and realize the new climate we are now in. Redfall launch and COD being first DLC and now a standalone are great examples of devs doing shady stuff and still struggling to fini...

Same reason why ladders are still an issue and you walk up a lot of ramps in Bethesda games, the engine can’t handle ladders still. Hard to hold out hope for mech DLC when a ladder cripples their game engine. If it’s 30fps on foot, can’t imagine what it would be like in a mech with action, especially if someone was climbing a ladder at the same time.

11/11/21 was original release date and they said that with confidence. Green lit Halo launch with confidence. No question Starfield is a must play, but it is certainly a good thing reviewers will help ease that uncertainty. BG3 already ate Starfield’s lunch anyway, good thing they “are having trouble” with the Series S version or Starfield would have been going head to head with it for sales-or Gamepass downloads, lol—happy for Xbox owners to get a real gem, but funny how it “worked out” that...

Run for three to five straight minutes (as teammates drive by me) only to get shot by a sniper 100 yards from the choke point —Or, spawn on a vehicle just to have it blow up seconds later. This is my Battlefield experience with 2042

Beat Saber says hello.

It’s obviously really well made and, if you like the genre, a great game. I know it’s not for me because I don’t like turn based other than Darkest Dungeon. I’ll probably still buy it on deep discount so I’m not out $70 when I realize I still don’t like D&D or turn based 200 hour games.

Bungie have mastered the DLC game, probably one of if not the best at it for a few years now. Apples and Oranges.

Microsoft cares nothing about pushing the medium forward. They are actively holding back gaming on console; from buying up IP that was once available no matter where you played, to the subscription model mindset, to forcing devs to dumb down their products for budget hardware— it is crystal clear M$ cares very little about cultivating IP’s or taking care of the ones that their fan’s love. They even admittedly care less now about selling their own hardware as they just want you to stream their...

There’s re-releasing a game because its vision can now be fulfilled thanks to better hardware and there’s re-releasing a game for money. At least they touched up the Last of Us while they were at it, this Take Two shenanigans seems like they just want to take my $50 twice for the same thing.

I expect Microsoft exclusives to PlayStation will be made with about the same quality and love as PlayStation releases get on PC.

M$ will probably green light a sequel for the Gamepass toilet. That arrogant money pride never ceases to amaze

If this was a Sony first party game PlayStation would have gotten roasted in the media. Somehow, blending in amongst the heap of Gamepass mediocrity it gets a slide. Go figure. Take your L and move on, the juice ain’t worth the squeeze to improve this game. A polished turd is still a turd.

It was great when I played this version over a decade ago. Remake or bust.

Cart in front of horse. Until devs drop last gen a new sku is useless. Now devs will have a last gen version, next gen, plus a RT 60 version for the pro. Then if multi platform it’s a X and S version plus whatever new sky from M$. Not to mention Nintendo. Devs need to drop last gen like yesterday
