This is great info and holy shite how far consoles have come to have all these graphical options, never would have thought it just a few years ago. Good on Insomniac for not hand holding and just giving us the options. I have a 120hz display but no VRR. Gonna try that fidelity tonight, only had a couple hours with performance launch night. Can’t wait to swing back in!
Threw u an agree but just saying, vampire looter shooter isn’t the most original idea ever and maybe this is part of the reason the player count is so low. Also, reviews unfortunately do seem to have a huge affect on how well a game sells out the gate. It would be one of the biggest redemption stories in gaming if they can “fix” this game

Also, this genre is played out and beyond that there was little to no marketing or hype around this release. Yeah, the game itself needed more time in the oven, but the concept and design looks below average too.
The added Burroughs make it so much better, being able to cross the river is just sick.
It’s like supporting Budweiser, yeah they are the biggest, and relatively cheap, but try ANY other competitor and you’ll see there are better offerings available. The next Xbox will have all the games. Personally, I’m more interested in new experiences not the same old but the bigger they are the least likely they are to change.
CDPR had no choice but to sell you that $30 DLC to try to make up for losses from the terrible launch they had and putting out an unfinished game.
Man I guess they would have really been screwed if they didn’t buy Zenimax and Acti/Blizzard. Seriously though, if Xbox doesn’t have a killer lineup, like the best launch lineup ever, for the next Xbox launch they truly are fools.

I stopped playing COD years ago—don’t care about M$ buying the “old and proven” devs whose best games are regurgitated with a new coat of paint every few years. I’m way more interested in Wolverine over anything those studios have coming. Smh and going back to playing BG3 and waiting on Spidey 2 in couple days.

Agreed, MW2 OG was the king. All downhill since then with cheaters and 360 no scope PC players from god knows where in the world trying over and over to put you on a Twitch stream. Try cooperation with your teammates, not happening. The game is just riddled with bullshit kills and the most sweaty matches played to the soundtrack of screams of kids saying the N word with the smoke alarm beep going on in the background. Too many years of this bullshit to pay for it all yet again.

Yup, willing to bet it’s the micro transactions for finishers and unique animations that is holding this game back in development—we should get something special when it’s all said and done. OG Factions was insane.
The best studio hasn’t done a thing and PS5 still has a huge lead. Probably too busy counting all the money they made the last few years. I expect Factions next summer/holiday season and TLoU2 remaster sometime early next year. If they drop a new IP or TLoU3 in another 3/4 years it’ll be normal output when compared to other devs.
Release polished versions of your best bangers and this would be a reality. They F’d up the Halo launch—maybe the next Gears will be great, just don’t make it open world lol. Come out with a great Crackdown (yes, now an amazing open world) and drop Perfect Dark with 4 way couch coop/multiplayer (just drop the Series S) and viola.
