Honest truth though, yeah it ugly, but PS5 is an otherworldly design
They are a great hardware company they just suck at innovating because it’s all about cost and margins. There are so lttp with these features it’s comical. And let me guess, the standard SSD and haptics are optional for devs to use but that Series S version is still ball and chained to the X. Yup, good ol M$
Same here, used to play COD and Battlefield and just got tired of the same old shite. Sports game’s literally haven’t improved in like 20 years and there’s still too much lag to enjoy a competitive match no matter the game. Fighters are the last good online gaming experience and even that’s dodgy. I’m canceling when my Plus expires in a couple months too. These free games are straight trash.
There will be three new Xbox’s by then.
It needs to refresh the price to half
Looks like an air purifier. By the time enough games come out to make me buy one there will be another sku, they release hardware more often than must play games.
The difference between Microsoft and Sony is that Microsoft talks how the games are coming, even if they aren’t. Sony doesn’t let games simmer on some word of mouth hype nonsense, they drop the sizzle reel with the date at the end. I’m glad Sony has kept quiet—clearly the games aren’t ready to show yet. Rather these articles where a nobody complains than getting smoke blown up my ass by the CEO.
Hopefully when you load the game for the first time it doesn’t force create a character and career mode on you like the last game. So frustrating when I just want to load up an arcade style fight to check out the game and have to play something the devs force on you instead. Hopefully punches actually have weight to them now too, I’ve seen ham sandwiches land with more force than some of the “knockout blows” players incur due to a bar running low
Hype for day one! Devs want you to purchase at full price, just don’t people. Always wait for the dust to settle before buying a game. Reviews, especially day one reviews, are made in a bubble and obviously just one person’s opinion. I look across multiple reviews to find the common thread of the game’s strengths and flaws then make a decision on a price point. A game like Far Cry I wait until it’s $20. Street Fighter 6 I’m waiting until $30. A game like BG3 or Spidey 2 I’ll buy at $40. This ...
This. Why Nintendo won’t fan service us with this and give Wave Race the same treatment is beyond me. Switch 2 launch games would sell them out of consoles, but we’ll prolly just get another Mario because they figure that’s enough. Sadly, they are correct.
More talk about games coming…
PS5 gamer’s eating good this year. Only on PS5 can you play both GOTY games.
Looks like the most fun you can have on two sticks this year. It is sure to have the high production we are used to from Insomniac and probably boasts the best performance too out of all the big games. Also, biggest and best use of license with most mass appeal. Still, most outlets will give it to BG3 even though it’s not as polished and nowhere near as fun. That type of game will be celebrated by PC gamers and ultimately more people will play BG3 so I get it.
3-6 months is the perfect window for exclusivity timing. I think we’ll see more and more of this for third party bangers as these companies try to stress gamers with more hype and FOMO. Just wait the few months people and pay less and get a better game.
Agreed, DLC is ridiculous with these games, same as the Sims games, they know the features you want (like traffic control, metro transit) and they leave it out and sell it to you in pieces. Still, there’s really no other game that does city sim/management better.
Yeah, you’ll totally get laid when the black light hits this baby in your dorm room lol
More like DBag brand. They can’t come up with their own design worth buying so they ride the gray area of copyright issues then point at Sony and cry foul when the lawyers deliver the cease and desist. Companies like this are coat tail riders and everything wrong with this industry. Prolly owned by millennials that would rather be internet famous or sue for money instead of actually creating something original worth buying.
It’s called chasing loses. When you put so much time or money into something to stop and you tell yourself to keep going because things may change and make your investment worth it. All you really did is play yourself by doing something you know you don’t like, but you try to convince yourself otherwise. Grasping at a reality vailed in hype; this is the Xbox way.
Exploring Uranus? Might run into an invisible wall but hopefully it’s not just an endless abyss.
This is the big one, and yup, Microsoft minions already hard at work reminding us video game enthusiasts that we should have an Xbox for this exclusive that is (optimistically) three years from releasing. Think I’ll wait and see but thanks for the reminder lol.
