@Parappa: It's funny that you're calling this game just a simple advertisement for upcoming games considering your username and profile picture. There are plenty of playstation classics in there, calm down. Activision would be stupid not to offer Crash and Spyro at some point and it's clear from the interview that they're still not finished with character announcements.
Where does it actually say that this is to prevent people hacking the device? For all we know it could just be some minor bug fixes/performance enhancements.

Ever heard of a warranty? They will sell it once games that use 2 gamepads come out, which should be within a year anyway.
If I hadn't gotten gravity rush (which is amazing) recently I would have been complaining about the lack of support too. Oh well, it should last me long enough until AC3 Vita, PAS, LBP and COD. We don't have it that bad tbh, could be worse.

That's just stupid though, vsXIII was already changed from being a PS2 title to a PS3 one and considering all the money that has gone into making the game and the new engine, it would be completely stupid to waste all of it. Unless if the PS4 has a very similar structure to the PS3 (which goes against most rumours we've heard which state it's more of a computer-based architecture), a lot of the work would need to start from scratch.
I don't need an inside source, it's just common sense. If you have x amount of resources to allocate to different projects then by taking your resources away from one project you're obviously going to slow its progress. If SE stopped at the first XIII and dedicated their resources to vsXIII then they would have certainly finished sooner than they will finish now without rushing it, even if they still took long at least then we can attribute that to the sheer scale of the game rath...
doubtful, there's more chance of it being released 2013 considering next gen is around the corner, maybe early 2014 at the latest. Releasing it in 2015 will be like shooting themselves in the foot
I would be very surprised if it isn't shown at TGS, considering the next gen is going to be announced at E3 2013, this is one of their last chances to fully announce the game and release it before the next gen consoles eat into the anticipation that has been built around this game.
Firstly, it's been over 6 years, we've been patient but this is getting stupid now. Secondly, I don't see why it's unreasonable to say that SE is out of touch with their fanbase when all of us are wishing for SE to fully dedicate their resources into this "genre redefining" game instead of releasing another XIII which is far from genre redefining and not nearly as anticipated/going to be as successful.
We need Tomba! I don't want spyro and crash to be in there because I'm 99% sure that if they are, Superbot will be forced to use their new appearances which will completely ruin things for me

Yes but what about when Windows 9, 10, 11, etc. come out? Are they just going to rename the xbox with each iteration of windows just to confuse the buyers? Once a new windows is released, the name just won't make much sense anymore.
They could have still been in discussions with Activision by that point. From the interview, he does suggest that there are more characters yet to be revealed so I doubt this is the final roster.
