It's not even about the reviewer's own opinion. The score itself is determined by a group of senior editors and not solely by the person who did the review. So when this group gives the same score to Resident Evil Revelations as they did to TLOU then you know that the smell of BS is in the air.
Only negatives I gathered were some slight glitches which they themselves admitted was more nitpicking and some of the killings feeling senseless. Nothing to really justify that score.
Real tired of your shit Polygon
Brace yourselves, perfect reviews are coming.
But surely you'll be wasting that deposit you paid?
Where is the harm? Well, you still don't know the price of the actual console, nor the price of the games, nor how the pre-owned situation is going to be exactly, nor which retailer will offer the best deal. It's stupid to pre-order one now when most of the points I've mentioned above will probably be cleared up in a weeks time and I don't see the consoles selling out within this period.
Also, those pre-ordering would commit themselves to ordering from a particular retailer when another retailer can easily offer a better deal. Really don't see the point in pre-ordering consoles at this point.
Gravity Rush 2 please.
No dynamic gameplay? Have you even seen or read anything about this game?
Based on the trophy list there seems to be a survivor mode which is above hard.
When the tips tell you that clickers can't be killed by normal melee attacks, it's a good idea not to go into "challenge accepted" mode.
Wait what? Think you're talking about the other guy I replied to. Even that feature doesn't need the camera. Why would I need to see someone controlling my character? Surely the only necessary thing for that feature is for the other person to use their DS4. Aside from video chat and split screen swapping, I don't see what other notable features would require the camera.
Who knows what he was thinking. I'm surprised that so many people are as confused as he is.
Why does the share feature need the camera? It's recording directly in-game. The camera isn't necessary.
Hope not. I don't see myself using it too much and if it brings the cost of the console down then I would rather it not be bundled.
The interviewer phrased the question poorly, he only asked if the PS4 needed to have a permanent connection. It could always require a connection once a day as with the X1. Having said that, we haven't really heard anything which would suggest that it does require a connection, just saying this story is pretty pointless.
It's not new, it's just a crap site reporting old news after the whole anti-DRM campaign and hoping to get a few hits
This is ancient news, it's from the PS4 reveal.
"Although narrative in the gaming industry has improved by leaps and bounds since its inception, video games just don’t have the story chops of other forms of entertainment, such as movies and novels."
Really? Imo some games like Heavy Rain and The Walking Dead had narratives which were superior to many films I've seen and novels I've read. Think they're underestimating the medium.
That was the most detailed review I have ever read.
