From what I read it was only a $10M marketing plan for the launch of Halo 3. Halo 3 is the game that put Microsoft's game division in the green, definitely not in the red. I don't know where on earth you read that the marketing was $250M, but its just plain wrong.
You're telling me you're going to trust some no name VG Chartz? Wait till the December NPD numbers come in before judging the sales of the PS3 version. And, also, keep in mind that it's still in limited quanitites, and ONLY available in North America. Talk to me in April when we see the worldwide sales of UT3 when its in full supply.

I don't know why, but I think Sony is just too dumb to translate the hundreds of PS1 games already in the Japan PS Store to English. It's pathetic at how few games we have when they're so simple to emulate on the console. If Microsoft can emulate full, high quality, original XBOX games, and Sony is struggling with tiny little PS1 games, you know something is wrong.
Vista is a joke compared to Leopard. All they really did was copy Tiger's Feature with VIsta, but then Leopard came out and innovated beyod what Vista had.
Journalist Geoff Keighley confirmed that it IS coming to 360, but its just a matter of when, and analyst Michael Pactor said it IS going to be a 6 month exclusitivity period. Sony obviously paid Konami a few dollars to keep it exclusive for 6 months, but after that, i bet you're going to see it on the 360.
Only 1 game out of that list it out so far, Uncharted. How do you know GoW3, KZ2 and all the others will be so good? It was people like you that made LAIR the biggest disappointment of 2007.
I would've given it to CoD4, just because it took FPS intensity, realism and graphical prowess to a whole new level. Halo 3 without a doubt should win multiplayer game of the year because of features like Forge, video sharing, and 4 player co-op, but it's lack of killer graphics and innovation makes me vote for Call of Duty 4 as FPS of the year.

I can't really imagine Bioshock with multiplayer. Usually, I barely play a single player FPS, but Bioshock because it was single player only, allowed me to try experience and enjoy the amazing experience it offered. Bioshock might be cool with plasmids, but I don't think the environments would play well with multiplayer the way Halo 3 or Call of Duty 4 do.

Games like Super Mario, Guitar Hero and Zelda show that Wii is not a gimmick. People aren't getting bored of this thing anytime soon. Things like Wii Zapper, which is just a piece of plastic is sold out everywhere I live. Nintendo is just excellent at creating things that the mass market loves, but will get bored of soon. Who says it has to be Sony? Sony partnered with Jabra to include a Bluetooth headset with Warhawk. And, Sony is already losing money on each console. If they lost a bit more, yes it would hurt them a bit financially, but it would outcome in a higher satisfaction rate with thier consumers. I mean, even at launch of the XBOX 360, Microsoft lost approximately $150 per console, but included HD component cables because they knew that people want to go home and plug in an HD experience.
NO GAME IN THE HISTORY OF GAMING HAS COST $250M!! $250M?!?!? Check your stats man! No game has ever reached the triple digit million budget. Keep telling yourself that MGS is a flop, but while they're selling millions of copies of Halo, Sony will be struggling to reach 1M in Uncharted.
